Solar 2-0 aLive Solar 2-0 GuMiho INoVation 2-1 aLive INoVation 2-1 GuMiho 1st: Solar 2nd: INoVation 3rd: GuMiho 4th: aLive Let's face it, Solar is a god against terran right now. Look at his streak vs many other top terrans right now. He's going to 2-0 every terran he faces minus maybe INoNvation and ByuN. Good for him though, INoVation, who is better at TvZ than GuMiho is going to lose to GuMiho in the opening match so Solar doesn't have to play vs INoVation. Afterwards, we have INoVation, the best player in the world right now, will just ease by the other two players in the group, most likely going 2-1. ByuN 2-1 herO sOs 2-0 Bunny ByuN 2-0 sOs herO 2-1 Bunny sOs 2-1 herO 1st: ByuN 2nd: sOs 3rd: herO 4th: Bunny ByuN is the best player in this group and will advance in first place. I'm guessing he will drop one map to herO and that will be it. sOs is going to beat bunny pretty convincingly who will then get stomped by ByuN causing ByuN to come out in first. I do believe herO could bomb out as last place in this group but he'll probably go down 0-1 in the losers match and then come back and win it 2-1. We then have the PvP final match of sOs vs herO. I'm guessing 2-1 in favor of sOs. soO 2-1 Dark Classic 0-2 Rogue soO 1-2 Rogue Dark 2-0 Classic soO 1-2 Dark 1st: Rogue 2nd: Dark 3rd: soO 4th: Classic Sorry Dark, you're good but not soO good (until soO flusters and can't recover after his loss to Rogue). It is ZvZ though so I'd imagine something fishy catchy soO off guard. 2-1 soO. Next up, Classic vs Rogue. Talk about one sided. Classic will probably throw somehow even begin ahead. 2-0 Rogue. Battle of the two ZvZ masters with soO vs Rogue and although I think soO is better and will win his first game he will probably then end up losing game 2, getting flustered and losing. 2-1 Rogue. Losers match with Classic vs Dark is going to be sad because Classic already crashed and burned against Rogue so might as well do it to another top notch zerg. 2-0 Dark. The final match of the night will be Dark vs soO and it will be just like the first match and come down to the final game. Unfortunately for soO though, he's not going to relive his 2nd place curse over and over again and we'll finally see Dark going farther into GSL. 2-1 Dark. Stats 2-1 Hurricane TY 2-0 Patience TY 2-0 Stats Patience 2-0 Hurricane Patience 2-1 Stats 1st: TY 2nd: Patience 3rd: Stats 4th: Hurriacane Hurricane is going to take a super cheesy DT game off Stats which is going to put a chink in his armor and not make him as confident. TY then turns horseman and goes undefeated in his group 2-0ing both Patiences & Stats. Patiences absolutely crushes Hurricane and crushes him hard and carries that momentum into Stats, losing the first game, cheesing the second and winning into the epic 33 minute PvP slugfest on Ascension to Aiur to close out the night.

After reading that Group A prediction you can basically throw the rest of the predictions in the trash... <3 aLive is going to edge our GuMiho in the final game of the night by making everything turn into chaos, drops, pushes, possible base trades, low scv count. I'm guessing some type of Void Ray all in. Chargelot void ray all-in probably. herO won't recover from his brutal beating by ByuN and will choke to Bunny who will then just get outplayed by ByuN. soO 2-0 Dark Classic 2-0 Rogue Classic 2-1 soO Dark 2-0 Rogue soO 2-0 Dark 1st: Classic 2nd: soO 3rd: Dark 4th: Rogue As much as we want Dark to advance, he won't because soO and Classic. Dark beats Rogue 24/7 ezpz but Classic will have a shit load of good PvZ builds and only will practice that so he'll come out #1. Then at that point, it comes down to who can beat soO in ZvZ and that answer is nobody. Easiest group to call. I've always been surprised why people predict herO to beat them all. He is not ready yet for a Code S finals. Quick matches and fast aggression are not the keys to jump to Round 8.

and btw why everyone says that soO beats Rogue in a ZvZ? I think Rogue will revenge. He should have won in Ro8 against soO 3-1 in 2nd Season

I could see Gumiho (barely) winning their series but aLive has been distinctly unimpressive as of late. Also probably worth noting that Inno vs Gumiho's most recent occurrence was in OGTV's 6 start tournament two days ago, when Inno reverse-swept Gumiho in the finals. The final match saw Inno's mech beating Gumiho's bio. It just pure bias, using stats from april and march and ignoring the recent TvT improvment of INno. Don't get me wrong, he can totaly be eliminated by aLive and gumi but that is not the most likely case. A lot of salt behind those predictions, maybe because INnoVation is on his way to definitly surpass Mvp

Rogue vs soO was much much closer than the majority of soO's finals

He's basically saying "If Rogue hadn't made a mistake, he would have won". Well no shit, if soO hadn't made mistakes he would have won his GSLs. If Maru had closed his wall in IEM Taipei, he would have won. But they didn't.

Like yeah, ByuN and herO are the favorites in group B, but they play each other first which gives the group a bunch of upset potential. And everyone in group C is a god (although Dark against the best ZvZers in Korea probably means he's just screwed again).

And everyone in group C is a god (although Dark against the best ZvZers in Korea probably means he's just screwed again). C doesn't seem so hard tbh. Rogue and soO are the clear favorites because Classic's PvZ is really struggling (except for his mass Oracle play but Dark already beat that in SSL) and Dark's ZvZ is just not up to par with that of Rogue/soO. Agreed on TY and Stats for D. B is trickier in that herO would be a clear favorite except sOs is also there, so I'd have to say ByuN/sOs though it's really hard to call. A is the trickiest of all because TvT is just so volatile. Also Solar can't be underestimated since he only has to prep for ZvT and has always been a clever/creative guy. Inno is a slight favorite but that's about all I can say. If I had to guess I would go Inno/Gumi but Inno/Solar is also very possible and all the other combos are only marginally less likely. aLive definitely seems the underdog here though, but that's mostly because he just hasn't played in much of anything recently (except SSL where he's gotten wrecked) so it's hard to estimate his current form.
