So two questions: what is the earliest time we can come to warm up and how do we get into the venue at that time?

From what I understand it's the same pass used for people who just want to watch the event but obviously a player has to get in early. Finally I insisted on getting in early, explaining I was playing in the tournament, only to find that dozens of players were already there and warming up. So two questions: what is the earliest time we can come to warm up and how do we get into the venue at that time? Ask Heyoka/Steisjo on Twitter/Skype or send a mail.

Yes apparently it is (I've gotten email confirmation since then). I had to harass people for an explanation as to why I wasn't on the player list that got publicly announced because I wasn't given any information after registering for the tournament. Another nice thing is that you don't actually need a dreamhack ticket to sign up for the tournament, so it's impossible to guess how many no-shows there will actually be. Basically the people who are accepted into the open bracket get a computer that they get to use for almost the entirety of dreamhack which means you can just hang out and play SC2 in a special area that spectators aren't allowed in. It's really boring otherwise.

Players just want to play and move along so they can be done. Then, get some rest, practice and have some fun. If Avilo is gonna throw tantrums and stuff causing delays, it is gonna impact other players in his group. No one wants that.

Last year this was a bit goofy because the venue opened really late on Friday, this year the general admission opens at 10am and the ro80 will start at 1pm so there should be good time to get settled and warm up. Can just walk in with your general access badge since the venue will be open.
