probably a result of data being pulled straight from the forms used to sign up. it asks for team and ID in separate fields. here's my guess: some of the ROOT guys put ROOT, some put ROOT Gaming. TLO put Team Liquid for his team but then also put his team tag in his ID

Totally agree, I was really excited to see him on the player list. Hope to see some great games from this.

I can imagine him lecturing the audience about how his opponent is a maphacker while he's just sitting there wondering WTF is going on.

The sign-up page of their website is STILL open right now. Don't I at least have the opportunity to fight for a spot online then? There's no mention on their site of it being first come first serve. I've been looking forward to this since DH Austin was even announced. Pretty sure the spots are given with priority to WCS 2016 points

Best of luck to Time and iA, it has been a long time since a Chinese player performed and this might be their chance to shine. Hopefully some other Chinese pros make it to US to play in the offline qualifiers. edit: On April 11 2017 17:04 digmouse wrote: Add Toodming to the list, xiaose and F91 are sponsoring his trip: http://www.weibo.com/1817472001/EE0mduyq7?ref=home&rid=10_0_0_2606537406229901907 wooo nice

Are they just sending him, hoping that lots of people drop out? Because I think there are already many on the waiting list even.

I guess most of the spots are reserved for known players and pros, while the others went to people who signed up before you. Is it really done by who signed up first?

No idea, I was just guessing. It's safe to assume that pros had priority and were seeded by WCS points, but after that it's not clear.
