We have been asking for an event in Montreal for years, and they choose to go to the middle of nowhere when it comes to esports entertainment? will there even be sc2? This is truly ridiculous M O N T R E A L. | ||

Austin is a pretty youthful city now and DH might bode well there. | ||

The Texas Starcraft Showdown was in Austin. TeSPA, what may be the most famous collegiate eSports organization, is headquartered in Austin. ACL, Austin Citiy Limits, a major music festival, has featured eSports and SXSW, a major arts festival featuring theatre, tech, and music, hosts eSports events every year. Plus many other eSports events. Not to mention, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are very close to Austin and are 3 of the most populated cities in the country. You got it, it was Dallas not Austin. That's why I didn't go.... Very true, but Texas is becoming strongly popular internationally due to its central location. For example, Texas is basically the Japanese business capital of the US, with most US headquarters of Japanese countries being located in Texas. Its far from everything, but everything is far from everything. If you hold it in New England, then California gets screwed and vice versa. The US is pretty giant, so why not hold it in the middle? | ||
