That wasn't the argument. The guy posted like I was wrong about my statement. He didn't specify in what manner. What I said was true. It's not a real argument over where the tournament should be hosted. I'd take a much different stance. But in this exact discussion between the other poster I am correct.

I'd be so pumped if they came to Dallas or Austin. I was always gone in Chicago when SC2 stuff was in Texas, but now it's back. Would be ironic if it ended up in Chicago lol.

if they are announcing this on July 8, 2015 and Draemhack is european based then the announcement should be in the next hour , no?
if this Dreamhack event is after teh event in Sweden in September then a southern US state makes a lot more sense

so i guess it'll be announced 16 hours from the time of this post.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but as this is "North America" - perhaps Mexico City? Should be cheap, tons of people - more than any city in Canada or US. Good food. No horrible to overcome visa issues. MajOr would be happy.
