RedEye is a pretty amazing host, and professional, but I've read from a lot of sources he's quite the shark in private business, and value his ego quite a lot, so heeeeh... Not surprised.

Ever since I listened to Thorin's interview with Paul, I've had nothing but respect for the guy. Very humble, very hard working, and, in spite of anything Paul himself might say, very talented.

He's given eSports a lot, and I hope eSports has realized that and started to pay him back in kind. IEM won't be the same without him.

Redeye was a solid host. I don't actually think Redeye's hosting abilities will be missed all that much, but what MIGHT e missed is the professionalism that he brought to his projects. When you pair Redeye with Apollo +1 casting you get a much more professional feel than you get with most any other host/commentators in the scene and the entire event comes across in some way like its a level above. I've wondered though if in an era where sc2 numbers are declining and jobs are shrinking from 2 years ago if having smaller teams isn't financially smart.

Anyway, good luck to Redeye, the professional.
