God I hope Redeye stays with SC2. It might be a pipe dream, and I like watching other games besides starcraft, but I'd like the old faces to stick around as long as possible

Damn!

Paul is so iconic persona of the scene, on par with Carmac or Tastosis. He will be definitely mi ssed, but I can understand his move. He is not the youngest part of our community. And it is absolutely logical that he is going where he can get the most of his skills. I mean, we all love him, for his work and personality, but unfortunately our game is not able to support the best in the business as good as other games. I do not care if he joins CS:GO, Dota, Riot or Minecraft. You sir, deserves only the best for your work and dedication and I am truly grateful, that you were the major part of community of my game. Redeye is one of the figures in esports that I don't merely like, but I have an earnest, genuine respect for. His contributions to the scene - to EVERY scene - cannot be understated.

And more importantly, that contribution is also not over. He's going to still be one of the all-time giants of esports with this new job. I agree with those who suspect that GFinity's made a power play here. He'll be missed at IEMs and whatnot, but I'm excited to see what his new role will have to offer to him. So instead of a "NOOOOOOO

" thread, this should be a congratulations thread! Congrats to Redeye, and I'm looking forward to his new ventures! #PLOW
