Even if I predict MC to win this season, I wouldn't say he is a top 3 PvT player. There are at least sOs, Rain, Classic and possibly Stats (?) above him.

Well tbh we haven't seen much of Zest's PvT in January apart from a victory over sKyHigh's lackluster TvP, so I dunno, maybe (hopefully) he's better at it now.

Everyone above has beaten Taeja and Flash at one point, two of the BEST TvP'ers, Zest couldn't beat any of them (ok Zest beat Flash in a qualifier, but it was a qualifier, the other guys beat them in a preparation match)

Welp there is the teammate thing going with FlaSh + I don't know how many series he played vs Taeja. And the main thing is that your worst mu can become your best in a few months, and since we don't see much out of Zest it's hard to tell until he starts to play in more tournaments than just PL.

I guess, but if we go back to the GSL he won, he beat ONLY TOSS AND ZERG, the only person he lost to in the WHOLE tournament was Maru in the Ro 16, he won exclusive ony his vZ and vT, if that GSL was more Terran stacked, he would've lost I think much earlier

I actually expected Innovation to switch out MMA for someone like Yoda. But I suppose he's loyal to his team and helped Dream out big time (2 zergs vs Dream means Dream is getting out of that group.) It's a bummer Rogue is stuck in a group with Rain and TvZ guru Dream...

Because Parting is way better than you are giving him credit for. I'd argue that Parting, Maru, and herO are all top 10 players. MC also played quite well in his last group and is a bit more of a mystery.

I think no one is arguing with that, I'm just saying that today, Zest's PvT may have evolved, since as Imre pointed out the best MU of a player can change over time (also known as the ForGG syndrome).

herO struggles with PvP but has one of the best (the best?) PvT in the world. As for Maru, if going 3-4 against Life in the finals of a weekend tournament and beating herO and Soulkey on the way is slumping, then I dunno who isn't slumping right now.
