They are actually the best team in EU right now. Completely dominating the European Heroes tournaments. Here's a video of the Grand Final of the RVI that they played vs. mYinsanity (#2 in Europe right now):

What else could force SC2 player to switch on MOBA except $$$?

HotS is actually pretty fun to play

No money in Heroes yet man, they're just doing it for fun I think. Plus, no offense to Heroes players, but with Vortix being a full time student and all, I think Heroes might be a little less time consuming for him to stay a top player

It is, but it will never give you the same feeling of accomplishment or pride in your skill. Not if you come from Starcraft I think. You won't feel the same drive to improve and push yourself to your limit (since the game will reach it's limit before you). Obviously that's just my opinion .
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Let's hope for a return at Legacy of the Vortix. Sad to see him go. Wish him all the best!

I'm pretty convinced that if vortix was motivated to practice he could become the best foreigner by a large magin, arguably he already was. Sad to see him lose his passion =/ Hope he comes back for legacy

Why would you want someone to take over your title?

People joke about Liquid being the "retirement team", but it's starting to become true for Mill as well d:
It's a really sad news though, he was an inspiring Zerg to look forward to

Heroes of the Storm that much fun, eh? His team looks really good though, so I understand his desire to play that game instead. Best of luck.

He crushed IEM San Jose European qualifier (which was filled with Koreans)... and then decides to "retire"

Best to retire while you're on top.

When I asked happy who was best foreigner zerg on his stream. He said this exact same thing. Although He did say Kane is the future.
people say practice is perfect but if nothing is perfect whats the point in practicing?

He had a good run while it lasted; definitely a force to be reckoned with! Best of luck to Vortix in the future...

I bet he'll come back for LotV
