Awesome! Really, that's awesome.
I'm glad to have Taeja back in Korea :-) Does this mean HerO plays for MVP as well?

EDIT nevermind, forgot /facepalm

MVP has a really good roster now, but it might turn out to be too terran heavy, especially when balance shifts again.

MVP is actually looking a good shape now, with Taeja, a HerO that seems to be doing well, A revived Marine King, Panic, Yonghwa...

They're actually a really scary team now !!!!

It's a good thing that TaeJa doesn't care about balance stuff. He did well, no matter the meta.

I honestly see MVP as a serious contender this season. I cannot actually believe I'm saying that, but given the team-jumble that went down, I suppose it isn't that surprising.

I see their Terran lineup as the strongest for sure, but players I suspect will get fielded most are: Taeja, MarineKing, YongHwa, and obviously Aphrodite (j/k ) with the following sprinkled in there: Departure, Losira, HerO, Panic, Seed.

Unfortunately for Center and Salvation, the Terran slots are taken, so I don't imagine them getting fielded much.

Other side of the keyboard on a smartphone is just a centimeter or two away, also, Tanja is a name in some countries and Taeja is not, so it might have been autocorrect ?

Hey now, wouldn't they be playing for the same team (MVP), as shown by the roster listed? Or are you making a joke or something..?

If you ask me, that's a bigger mistake than misspelling Taeja for Tanja.... JUST SAYING...

I'm quite a bit curious of this myself. He has qualified for both major KR leagues this season, so either...

a) he plays more because he'll be staying in Korea a lot more...?
or
b) he plays less because he does not want to focus on all 3 leagues/show builds

But let's hope he goes with option a) and still does really well!!

Interesting I thought he hated proleague and one of the reasons he went to Liquid was so he wont have to play in proleague (like most of the koreans who leave Kespa), it will be interesting to see how he does taking into consideration hes bad in formats where they have timw to prepare for their opponent.

To be fair I think Naikonz was referring to the fact that his ability to play seems independent of the meta. (Though it DOES seem to depend on season. >_>)

But yeah, he does complain a fair bit.

And I agree with the above...looks like Prime merged with IM and renamed to MVP.

...still keeping the IM flair though. I believe!

He was 9-10 in Proleague with EG-TL. While you certainly expect more from a player of Taeja's caliber, 9-10 isn't a horrible record by any means, especially considering how badly his team as a whole performed, the quality of opponents he faced, and the fact that Taeja has never given a damn about Proleague and has never really prepared for it, even opting not to stay in the team house.

That last point, however, is the reason I don't really have high hopes for Taeja this go-around. He's one of the strongest players in the world right now, but that's never enough for Proleague. You've got to really prepare to do well in PL, and I don't think Taeja's willing to do that, especially considering he's basically playing to pass the time until he can join the military.

Taeja doesnt care about balance.

He is balance.

As much as I enjoy watching Taeja play I hope I don't see him getting sniped every single match

As exciting as the news is, please remember the last time he played in Proleague with EG-TL. Taeja seems to shine brightest in tournament with back-to-back series (weekend tourney, qualifiers) as opposed to Proleague style tournament.

Regardless, hope he does well.

Presumably because they:re listed as MVP in the league, play with the MVP clan tag in individual games, will play under the MVP account in Proleagur matches, and walk onto stage wearing a jersey with an MVP logo on it.

Not surprised at all, MarineKing needs some coaching, good for Taeja to do some community work before retiring ♥
Joke aside, glad to hear i'll have some Taeja for 2015 and gl to MVP they have some pretty good names there.

Starcraft in Korea will be so sick in Korea next year. Definitely the best for sc2 ever I think and BW seems to be going strong again too.

Just sad that Jaedong decided to skip on it.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Well of course I was exaggerating but I wouldn't be surprised if he plays very little, this year Leenock was mercenary for Prime and he played like once, I wouldn't be surprised to see Taeja play only 2 or 3 games overall.

I hope someone does bring him in - not as much because I want to see more of his play, but his inclusion in Proleague will raise the bar in the ceremony game.

Losira is highly underrated, as rank 1 GM in Korea a few times recently, Panic is a surprisingly strong up-and-comer, Marineking and Gumiho are remarkably resurgent, and Hero and Yonghwa are remarkably adequate. I'm thinking they'll be a solid, middle-of-the-pack team this season.

I agree but am a little concerned that they remind me of IM last season: lots of strong players but few stars. I feel like for this team to be successful, MK, TaeJa and GuMiho will have to play a lot and do very well, or maybe a resurgence from a player that has been more quiet recently like HerO or Seed.

No it wasn't.

Though I'd agree, the stacked teams tend to not live up to the hype. IM took way longer than they should have to win that second GSTL and SKT didn't even win SPL last season for instance.
