While some may think that scheduling a tournament just a week after BlizzCon is a poor decision, there could be no better time for Homestory Cup 10. After the biggest, most important, and most serious event of the year, everyone is still hung over from the conclusion of the WCS season.

Now, they'll just be hungover, period.

There is something special about HSC. Whether it's the mismatched rotating casting crew on the couch, progamers in pyjamas, or the many strange antics that go on around the stream, its appeal is unique among major tournaments. TaKe's apartment brings out the personalities of players that we often only see within the game client, and it's a refreshing break from the ratrace of WCS points.

Unfortunately, we're a little too hungover to give you a serious Homestory Cup preview. In fact, after a quick search, it appears we've never even done a proper HSC preview, and I just accidentally decided we should make one in my stupor. Huh. Anyway, there are a ton of expectations and predictions heading into HSC 10, but none are more important than wondering which pros will get drunk, and who will have the most embarrassing moments.

Speaking of Hangovers...

Everyone has a favorite thing to binge on during sessions like HSC, and each person has their own special hangover cure. There are times when we drink to forget the past, or drink to forget the present. Whatever the poison, antidote, or reason, our own choices reveal something about our personalities.
