In several games you see Flash at the start drinking Pocari Sweat, and really I think it's a genius move: the advertising is made to be unintentional by making it seem Flash is drinking the stuff by his free will, but behind the scenes the guys basically forced him to drink the stuff. Hey, if Flash can do so good drinking Pocari Sweat, maybe you should too right?

how do you know its funded though

in all star race wars, those progamers had bunch of snacks and drinks, which could have not been funded imo

and pocari sweat is really good, flash could have just picked it =O

or maybe they're all funded

Nowadays basically anything you see like that is because of sponsorship, hidden or otherwise.

Seinfeld did entire episodes based on products and no one bats an eyelash. Nor should though! EAT JUNIOR MINTS!!! DRINK SWEAT!!

Well, since I like drinking Sprite, if I became a progamer and drunk Sprite on television, would people think I was an advertising whore because I liked to drink a certain brand name beverage before and after games?

And if the company says they'll pay me $15k a year to drink with the label facing in a certain direction, is that wrong?

the commentators talked about the pocari sweat thing yesterday after the flash vs hwasin. One of the commentator commented "I hope you get a sponsorship from pocari sweat"
So no.. he's not sponsored.. maybe he will be :D that would be awesome

Pocari sweat is soooooo good. And it's cheaper than any other sports drink you can buy at a normal store usually. And you can buy it in 2L bottles. <3 pocari sweat

If there are any Japanese or Korean super markets near you, you can probably pick up a large bottle there. Personally, I love the stuff though some are turned off by the name lol.
