News is all about the negatives: politics, injustices, transgressions, not things like culture unfortunately. And I think some people are thinking that all Ukrainians are on one side and Russians on the other.

You can't be serious. Russia and Ukraine are in the middle of a very dangerous conflict. People are shooting and killing each other, a passenger plane was shot down not too long ago in addition to other fighter jets...and you're saying that when someone cautions people to stay safe he/she must be brainwashed?? There is an armed rebellion, it is perfectly reasonable to advise caution. At least I'm hoping you're not implying that the rebellion somehow is not occurring because even RT is not that extreme.
He never said that Ukrainians are being beaten as soon as they cross the border, but if you happen to be travelling through or near that area it is a warzone and its reasonable to take some precautions (if necessary). To be frank we don't really know what the situation is in Russia itself, but I wouldn't trust Russian media for a second. I would also caution people to take a safe route and try to steer clear of any protests.

*thumbs up* Please no politics in SC2. Cheer for Russian Players as before, they have nothing to do with IT. I hope twitch-Chat will not got crazy if f.e. bly plays bratOK, or KAS against Happy....
Imho the Lineup ist ok. I will watch it. Its DH, its SC2, its good! =)

Definitely some high profile names going.

This lineup is much stronger than I was expecting after the lacklustre first batch of participants.
|
Probably the weakest DH in a while (that I can remember).
Should be Life's tournament easily if he plays as well as he did at IEM. Snute has a pretty solid chance at the title as well.

I guess HerO isn't going to try to make Blizzcon unless he gets like a 2nd place finish in WCS America with all the people still in the running to break the top 16. I'll be keeping up with who else is going to go

"people are shooting and killing each other" yeah, in a relatively small area in eastern ukraine at the moment. not in moscow, nowhere in russia and not even in western ukraine. i think you may wanna read what i wrote again.
yeah his comment was clearly from someone who has not a very objective point of view. arguably, you can say to "stay safe" anytime, in fact, there's nothing wrong with that- even my grandma would say that to me everytime i go out. but you don't read "stay safe" or "be careful" on forums when people travel to IEM toronto, IEM china or DH bucharest. the only reason why he wrote it, is because he thinks russia right now is dangerous, and this is far from truth - and that's why his comment falls under the "slightly or entirely brainwashed" US citizens.
i've been staying in moscow since feb of this year, i will leave again around december- but it's a beautiful city as i remembered it. people are nice and there's tons of tourists everywhere (especially now that its summer) especially from europe and china. it's completely safe to travel from freaking anywhere. stop with the nonsense

Lot of KeSPA this time around which adds to the player quality. And I'm still surprised HyuN is attending every tournament around, Roccat must want then airline points.

I'd like to point everyone's attention for the team listed in the OP for Elfi.
