whether or not you agree that DH should be held in russia, this is a different discussion on which i have my opinion, but saying dramatic sentences like "stay safe if you're traveling from eastern europe" is simply laughable. i understand it's not your fault because you only have one point of view which is the one that they vomit on CNN/ABC/FOX etc. and highly likely that you have never even been to either ukraine, russia or the whole eastern europe.

i hope snute can show some sick ZvP without the use of the cashhosts like vs sOs.. and I also hope MMA/Life will do very well.

He never said that Ukrainians are being beaten as soon as they cross the border, but if you happen to be travelling through or near that area it is a warzone and its reasonable to take some precautions (if necessary). To be frank we don't really know what the situation is in Russia itself, but I wouldn't trust Russian media for a second. I would also caution people to take a safe route and try to steer clear of any protests.

yeah his comment was clearly from someone who has not a very objective point of view. arguably, you can say to "stay safe" anytime, in fact, there's nothing wrong with that- even my grandma would say that to me everytime i go out. but you don't read "stay safe" or "be careful" on forums when people travel to IEM toronto, IEM china or DH bucharest. the only reason why he wrote it, is because he thinks russia right now is dangerous, and this is far from truth - and that's why his comment falls under the "slightly or entirely brainwashed" US citizens.

i've been staying in moscow since feb of this year, i will leave again around december- but it's a beautiful city as i remembered it. people are nice and there's tons of tourists everywhere (especially now that its summer) especially from europe and china. it's completely safe to travel from freaking anywhere. stop with the nonsense
