KT yet another possibility to acquire a solid Zerg.

Flash -> Zest -> True sounds as sick as Maru -> SoS -> True

Stil not very likely to happen.

TRUE M8 why cant you stay in jinair and still get the 'foreign experience'? solar's been getting it, stork's been getting it,sOs, zest & herO have been getting it, flash is heading to canada...methinks he doesnt want to have to commit 2/3 of the year to proleague and miss out on alot of individual opportunities. oh well

EDIT: JinAirDRG

I think DRG wants a foreign team too T_T.

Wanting overseas experience doesn't mean he will switch. Innovation still plays GSL and so did Dear while on Mouz.

Seriously, he's not going to leave a decent salary at Jin Air for free food with Prime. If anything he's probably looking for a raise or travel.

I don't know if these players are aware that there are not that many foreign teams capable of affording a top level korean right now.
Actually I can't name any that seems a reasonable bet.

Did anybody suspect ROOT.Supernova? You never know which teams are in the market.

I don't feel like it's a good time to join a foreign team, but he has to follow his heart I guess. I hope he already has something set up and didn't just leave without other offers. Acer could need a zerg I guess .
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Prime gives their players salary too so what? I'm not saying it's 100% bound to happen but it could happen, you can't deny that ^^

lol @ above.

EG seem far more likely to just slowly scuttle their Sc2 division, which is now basically JD.

As for True, I used to be really excited about seeing Kespa players go abroad, but now it just feels like they are screwing themselves out of the best available practice environent.

Have to agree with Squat here. I'd be VERY suprised if EG ever picked up another Starcraft player ever again. They lost a lot of money on their SC2 division with a lack of results. JD has been a disappointment and none of their other players are doing much of anything.

EG already confirmed that sc2 is not their main game right now and they aren't investing, but they will again invest in sc2 and get new players around LotV. So no new pickups until then most likely but they will not drop sc2 or only keep Jaedong.

I am a bit disappointed but wherever he goes, I am just hoping that he will stay in his current shape.

Really? Where did you read that

Super cool if it is true, would be a shame to see one of the oldest teams fade away (in SC)

iNcontrol said as much once, but I can't remember if it was on a show or just some cast or stream. But Alex Garfield also said something similiar here http://evilgeniuses.gg/Read/332,EG-Parts-Ways-with-Illyes-Stephano-Satouri/

As far as EG's future with Stephano and StarCraft 2, we're keeping the book open. While there are a lot of exciting things going on in eSports right now, we have not lost our focus on StarCraft 2. It remains one of our pillars, especially as we get closer and closer to Legacy of the Void. And as for Ilyes specifically, we'd love to work with him again in the future if the opportunity comes up.

Maybe "will again invest" is too strong, and "plan to invest again" is better.

That sounds like a very generic statement, more to the point of placating fans rather than anything concrete. I'll have to go with believe it when I see it on this one.

im pretty sure they got their moneys worth out of Jaedong. He has been pretty sucessfull in sc2 with eg, even though he is not good right now. And he is just great for exposure because he is so popular.
