What team? Most teams are full and SC2 isnt exactly the hottest thing around and hes also competing with other players with way more foreign exposure. I could see him be teamless for a while.

EG seem far more likely to just slowly scuttle their Sc2 division, which is now basically JD.

As for True, I used to be really excited about seeing Kespa players go abroad, but now it just feels like they are screwing themselves out of the best available practice environent.

Have to agree with Squat here. I'd be VERY suprised if EG ever picked up another Starcraft player ever again. They lost a lot of money on their SC2 division with a lack of results. JD has been a disappointment and none of their other players are doing much of anything.

JD has not been a disappointment. He's shown consistently very good results. Not winning every tournament is not disappointing. He has a ton of very solid fans, and the EG sponsers get a lot of advertising done through JD just wearing logos.

If True joins a foreing team, he may have few months of destroying all of the tournaments he'll join. Joining another KeSPA team would be better for him. KT needs a good zerg....

I agree, I think EG is happy with their investment in JD. I just don't think that is enough motivation to keep the Sc2 division afloat with assisted breathing when JD's contract expires.

I guess you're right (I'm wrong just like with everything else). But in the last few months it's hard to say that JD has been living up to his potential. He still has a very large fanbase and he still does okay, I just wish he's live up to the old Jaedong. I tend to be wrong about a lot though so I really don't know. I hope EG isn't too disappointed with him.

As much as you want to think he's going to a Western Team, he'll probably end up in Taiwan. Which would be pretty cool.

Kind of sad for Jinair and proleague, he's one of the most interesting player in game and outside. (remember he talked about a movie he watched during GSL interview hehe).

I don't know much about salary on the Korean scene and Kespa players, but my guess is playing abroad outside Korea, following as many tournaments would probably earn him more money than staying in as Kespa player. And maybe he can do what Innovation does, stay at GSL but no proleague. No obligation, no restriction, more chance to go to any tourneys.

The downside maybe not being in a good team house where there's more practice partners. I kind of think that Innovation wasn't as good since he moved out of Kespa scene.

It could happen but Prime is mostly likely already getting ex-MVP players: DRG, Super maybe even some more, but still it would be great for Prime to have few good zergs

I'm sad he decided to leave -- any competition he may enter in the future will be less competitive than the GSL + SPL he's been doing.

Dammit
After seeing his games in GSL I was really looking forward for new PL season for Jin Air
Trio of Maru, sOs and TRUE would have been sick... Hopefully Rogue will come back to his form.
Still, TRUE is really good and is getting momentum, wish him the best, whether it would be another kespa or foreign team.

TRUE M8 why cant you stay in jinair and still get the 'foreign experience'? solar's been getting it, stork's been getting it,sOs, zest & herO have been getting it, flash is heading to canada...methinks he doesnt want to have to commit 2/3 of the year to proleague and miss out on alot of individual opportunities. oh well

EDIT: JinAirDRG
tfw maru promises to show me good games
