Smix getting hit by her mom is total insanity!? The mom as no right to be physically violent with her child like that just because she is surprised and she should be ashamed of having such a low emotional control... Such a bad example for smix and anyone watching!

people stop overreacting. the slap isn't a slap that is meant to hurt, it was just because her mom didn't like her daughter really grunting like a boss heheheheheheh. Its just natural in Asian cultures to physically discipline their kids, and the kids don't turn evil or learn violence. it was literally a cordial slap of annoyance, and anyone who keeps bitching that its wrong, its evil, parents don't deserve to hit their kids certainly are wayyyyy too soft. ;p

@juicyjames: How do you determine the games for the "The Matches" -section ?
If I check the voting threads, then a game like e.g. Cure vs Paralyze neither got 100% of excellent votes nor 24 votes for excellent either. *scratches head*
Also, the first 3 games of the GSL list were basically Protosses failing hard, so any chance of just trolling us ?

Wow the white knights in this thread are real. Smix was laughing about it so chill out with the whole child abuse shit. Also her mom is like 4 and a half feet tall and smacked her on the shoulder how bad could that have hurt her?

I could understand the rage if her mom hit her in the face a few times. But that clearly wasn't the case.

Amen. What's wrong with these people. If that was my daughter I would do the same damn thing. How old is Smix anyways? It's probably mutually beneficial for her to be staying with her Mom, but I'm sure she would move out if she felt threatened at all.
