[Tutorial] GameHeart Mod with custom team names

gawliq Poland5 Posts August 04 2014 15:06 GMT #1 If you want to organize your own small tournament, and you don’t need 150 team logos for teams like Acer, Team Liquid, KT Rolster etc, but only a few for some unknown teams this tutorial should help you. I’m going to skip everything that Ryan Shutter mentioned in his tutorials http://redd.it/2aloun. I’ll try to make it as easy as possible. Let’s start! 1) Open the Sc2 Editor and download GameHeart Logos file. Save this file on your HDD. ] 2) Go to “Mod” -> “Mod info” and change the name 3) Go to “Mod” -> “Game Attributes” -> “Values” tab. You can see all the team names. Delete everything except “none” and add your own team names. 4) Go to “Import” menu (F9) Delete everything except League1.dds and League2.dds. Then add your team logos in dds format. 5) Go to “Text” menu (F8) Delete everything with ID from “Attribute002/Value002/Name” to “Attribute002/Value150/Name”. 6) Go to “Data” menu (F7) and the “Textures” tab. Delete everything except =gameheart_BlackBox, TestDecal_Boundary, league_1, league_2. You can leave one record as a template for your records. Now add records for your teams with logos For me it looks like this 7) Now go to “Triggers” menu (F6), and go to “Logos – Team Input” I deleted everything except a record for team Complexity, which I’m gonna use as a template for my teams. Now click the record, and you’ll get “Logos – Data Input(A-L, Complexity, “Complexity”, …..)" on the bottom of the screen. If not press Ctrl+Shift+W. Just click everything one by one and change it. A-L / M-Z are the two halfs of the alphabet. I think you don't need to touch it. Second option is Atrribute ID – just pick the relevant team from the list. This list was created in 3rd step of this tutorial. Third option – name of the team. Fourth option – team logos Next two options are used for sponsors. If you don’t use this feature just type “blank”. Ok my bronze league team is done, as are the rest of my teams. 8) Publish this file. 9) Now open your custom GameHeart mod. Go to File -> Dependencies Click “Add other”. Find your published file, check the “always use latest version”. Click ok, and delete GameHeart Logos file from the list. Now save this file and publish it, create custom map with your mod and select your team. That's all. And sorry for my English. CDAS Mexico1 Post September 23 2014 05:06 GMT #3 Hi Gawliq, everything is so good but the last part about Dependencies, I had problems. My list is not the same as you show it: Even that I published once, then I did 9) Added my first publish and not deleting GameHeart Logos because it did not list. So, when I tried to publish again I could not publish my custom mod.
