They really couldn't complain about getting a group with 3 Koreans, since several of them only finished 2nd in the round of 32. But once again they don't get punished for it. They are punished by getting paired with top finisher of each group, who is evidently stronger by placing higher. You only have problems with nationality right?

Exactly, this poster is right. When you talk about a group of death, it really should be something special. Life, Innovation, Parting and Flash was a group of death, because these were all obscenely skilled players In Brood War, there was once a group comprised of Jaedong, Bisu, Flash and Sea. Now that is a fucking group of death People throw around the term quite loosely, and it really cheapens the value. In Group A, we have Mvp and MMA, who are two of the most accomplished players in SC2. But they are only 50% of the group. Then we have Vortix who is just a good foreigner, and Bunny, who is relatively unaccomplished. It's more like Half of a Group of Death. Now if you threw Jjakji and MC into that group as well, then you got yourself a Group of Death.

ZvP is his weakest match by far as well.

Maybe instead of a Group of Death poll the question should be something like "which group are you most looking forward to". I realize that's not asking exactly the same thing, though. The No Group of Death option is definitely good one to have.

Of course spreading out the koreans would make most sense so each of them has higher chance to go ro8 Or maybe they are random? With only 6 koreans in Ro16, it isn't that surprise to not have a 3 KR group...

So how did it go again? MMA > MKP > MVP or something of that sort? MMA > MVP and MVP > MKP, not sure how MKP vs MMA goes.
