After previously announcing that only half the Code A groups would be streamed, GomTV have decided to broadcast all of the Code A groups.
Gom.Soo:
We heard that many of you were disappointed to hear that only half of Code A will be broadcasted. Many users have left comments about not streaming all Code A matches. We value your opinion and have decided to stream all Code A matches.
I did complain (and possibly whine) an awful lot in yesterday's thread but for good reason. So happy the decision has been reversed, already bought my ticket!

getting praised for something you'd have done anyway would be quite excellent yes :p
Somehow this feels like a calculated move. Without even intending to stream only half of the matches, they would announce that and then pretend that they listened to make the community like them more.
Then again, maybe I'm cynical. This is a very good thing, as I personally really enjoy watching Code A matches even though I might miss a few broadcasts here and there.
I'm trying to buy GSL season pass for a long time, however there is no ticket to buy on gomtv.net and on GOMeXP they redirect you to their twitch channel. Won't they have a "no spoiler" and organized site anymore for the league? If there is anything similar to the old gomtv.net please someone tell me, searching for games in unorganized "past broadcast" on twitch.tv is awful.
We really should reward them in some way for being this responsive, so they continue to do so! Not sure how though :/ Just by watching all of these I suppose?
soo... does anyone know if there will be VODS available for people who purchase tickets? I don't see anything about it on their website, so am i correct to assume no?
Ok the vods are on youtube. But now I'm confused......I didn't have to log into youtube channel in any special way, so are the vods just free for all? In that case, what the F did I subscribe for?

it looks like the only VODs on youtube is Set 1 of each match. This is like what GOMTV used to do: set 1 is free, you need to subscribe if you want to watch the rest of the match.
I am confused about the VODs too though; you can find the VOD for the Group A broadcast in the Past Broadcasts section of the GSL Twitch channel, but not for Group B...

But you can't watch it so it's worthless anyways. I think what was supposed to happen is that subs get ALL vods from twitch and everyone else gets the first set of every match for free (it was the same way on gomtv.net), but whoever is in charge of this hole process fucked up greatly.

Ok I see the first set of vods on twitch, but it is asking me to subscribe for $20. I already purchased the twitch year subscription. What the Fack?
Well thats fucking great twitch after like 6 hours. Twitch has got to be one of the worst websites for vods that I have ever used. Maybe even worse than some of the old MLG systems.

I am able to watch the Group A VOD on Twitch fine. I agree with your interpretation of how it's supposed to work but yeah it looks like they forgot(?) to post the VOD for Group B to Twitch? This is a pain because of course Group B happened first so I got spoiled the Group B results watching the Group A VOD. Not that upset because Group B was one of the less interesting groups but they do need to fix this.
Someone also needs to alert them that the Group B broadcast never made it into Past Broadcasts. Maybe someone with Twitter? I don't use Twitter because I'm old and antisocial.

Wait you can watch? It tells me to subscribe which takes me to a site that tells me I already subscribed.

Yes, for me the Group A VOD works fine. I have been watching it and just re-opened it and it still works fine. Maybe the issue is related to when you purchased the ticket; I purchased it way back during Hot6ix Cup.

Did you buy season or yearly? i bought yearly and it asks me to buy a season ticket..

I have exactly the same problem, bought yearly and it's asking me to subscribe to season 1.

Yeah the old GOM VODs were great.
I have the "2014 Premium Subscription." If that's what you got too then I have no idea. I guess I'm just lucky?

So I am guessing thats the most expensive one right? That may just be the issue here as I bought the 35ish dollar version.

Yeah, I got the most expensive one I think. Anyway Twitch is aware of the issue so hopefully will be fixed soon? Also hopefully they'll actually get a VOD for Group B together, heh

I have the same problem: own the "normal" yearly subscription, now I can't watch the VODs on twitch and it's asking for a season subscription. This is ridiculous.

Maybe they'll have it fixed when code s starts. I have been giving gom money for like 3 years now and not once was I not able to access vods 10+ hours after the broadcast, really sick decision to switch to twitch, especially since that has become such a nice and reliable company within esports ever since own3d went down.

Yea nice that it's finally working with after like 11 hours, but I don't really want to watch group a before b T.T
I can't promise for sure, but I don't think Wolfdor spoil the results of Group B during Group A GAMES. They DO spoil it during their comments right at the start of the VOD, so skip past that. I also skipped most of their between-game discussions so don't know about that.
I've been purchasing tickets from Gom since 2011 open season 3. I hope group B gets put up soon... I've been waiting for it since I woke up this morning

Group B VODs are currently in the process of being uploaded to Twitch, but they are not fully spoiler free... that is, you can see from the names whether there are 2 or 3 sets in each match, so once you know who wins set 1, you automatically know who wins set 2. This is why I hate Twitch VODs. It would be so much better if they just left it in a single block video like they had for Group A. So if you want a fully spoiler-free VOD experience you might need to wait until someone like www.sc2links.com creates fully spoiler-free links to the Twitch VODs.

this !
i hate that twitch isn't spoiler free. better upload the whole stream at once. or one vod per match !

Twitch is naturally doing nothing about this. IMO the best option is watch the multi-hour full group vod. This doesn't seem to exist for Group B, but it's there for the others. A poor option, but considering we're dealing with twitch, it's probably your best bet.
Another option that kind of works for me is use Crtl-F to search for text and put in the match name, trying to draw you eye only to the highlighted test result.

As lon as they keep posting the multi hour single vids for each group I am okay with it. I got nervous when they did not post one for group b but groups c and d have them.
