GomTV has revealed the brackets for the first season of Code A, which will begin on January 15th. The format of Code A has changed considerably from previous years, and it is now essentially the old "Up/Down matches" expanded to cover all of Code A. Twelve groups of four players a piece play out a double-elimination group, with the two winners advancing to Code S and the two losers falling back to the qualifiers.
In addition, GomTV will only be broadcasting six of the twelve groups.
January 15
Group A :  sOs vs  Shine, Classic vs  GuMiho
Group B : EffOrt vs Curious, Sleep vs Ruin
January 16
Group C : Flash vs YongHwa, Leenock vs BrAvO
Group D : KeeN vs MyuNgSiK, Trust vs Symbol
January 17
Group E : FanTaSy vs Bbyong, Super vs Solar
Group F : Hurricane vs Panic, RorO vs Cure
January 22
Group G : INnoVation vs Zest, Stork vs herO[jOin]
Group H : Life vs ParalyzE, sKyHigh vs Squirtle
January 23
Group I : Reality vs Sora, Hack vs DongRaeGu
Group J : SuperNova vs CoCa, TheBest vs Stats
January 24
Group K : Hydra vs Dream, Ryung vs TRUE
Group L : Savage vs Dark, Seed vs Pet

Wow, sick groups. I do have to say though, what the fuck? Effort isn't getting streamed?? Damn...Not questioning too hard the decision for what to stream and what not to, but wow! Stacked, stacked groups!

I will never understand why some of the korean content isn´t streamed. Every group is better than every premier league on EU and NA. And even if they dont want to invest into doing it themselves then just give it free, someone like Khaldor or Nethanias would cast this groups for sure.

I don't like that SuperNova, Life, RorO, and KeeN are all unstreamed, however comparing the 2 groups of each day they are streaming the best group every time imo.

My stance is the same as last year, if GOM doesn't care about streaming all the matches so I can follow the players I care about then I'm not going to buy a ticket.

Wow seriously gom? You have like 3-4 months to run each GSL now and you seriously can't stream every game? So far the extra length has brought nothing good while meaning far fewer tournaments.... Pretty disappointing.
