Such a shame of a comeback really, telling the crowd about transparency while not holding up on it. That is the honest answer. What else do you want? I'm not going to spend $100s of thousands to operate an event on the same weekend in the same time zone as someone else. That is bad for us and for Redbull. I can't spin the answer any other way. What I'm saying is that if you had planned to host an event on that date you would have booked it.. Instead there was nothing and Red Bull came in and "saved" it. You're wrong, you don't have your facts straight. Stop trolling up the thread with your nonsense. It's pretty hard knowing all the facts when you don't work in the company yes... Which by extension is also why it's unwise to make statements assuming what we know is the full truth.

Link me a news article stating that they talked about it and MLG decided not to do it on that date.

Hmm let us see how long it will take MLG to abandon SC2 again. I will give them about 8 months

Where is YOUR proof?
Anyway, back to being way too happy about SC2 being back at MLG. Screw the haters.

Right. My bad, sorry.

Well done sir.

If MLG were to "abandon" SC2 again, would that be worse for you than them not coming back for a tournament or two at all? I mean people love Iron Squid to hell but they "only" had two tournaments before deciding that it didn't bring in the money necessary. MLG has hosted significantly more than two. I don't get the toxicity about them. Tournaments > no tournaments, right?

Too bad its NA only But I´m really glad they brought it back on the flip side! SC2 Rebirth?

hell, it's about time.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as far I can see it's only been confirmed that the online thing is NA only. The championship, judging from Adam's comments here, will have an open bracket. Open brackets usually mean Koreans.

This is pretty badass. A lot of people including myself were pretty annoyed with how MLG was handling the sc2 stuff, especially dropping the Ax Bros, as well as when Violet needed some sort of testimony MLG refused to help with the visa decision. But this is awesome, I've always loved MLG's events, they're some of the best and funnest I've been to, and hope this works out for them and we get more in the future! Bring on the MLG sc2 America's baby!
