11:40 AM : I log on, enter the WCS Chat channel and wait for my opponent 12:00 Noon: I'm still waiting for my opponent, I have not received any messages 12:30 PM: Our teamhouse gets hit with DDoS so I have to change locations, which I figure is okay since I will get a walkover anyways. Before I leave I manage to get a hold of my opponent and ask him to wait 20 minutes, which he reluctantly agrees to (even though I was waiting for him for almost 30 minutes...) and I also ask friends to notify admins that I will be returning shortly 12:50 PM: I am at a new location and log on to see that I have been dq'd because my opponent said that I was a noshow. From that point on, I notify admins that I was unjustly disqualified, and my opponent refuses to play me since i was "almost an hour late". They proceed to disqualify my opponent. I play my round 2 opponent and I win 2-0. I then check the bracket to see that I have been placed back in round 1. I check the bracket again after several minutes and see that I have been disqualified and my opponent is now in round 3. This was at about 2:30, nearly 3 hours after the tournament began. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! update: admin is asking me to play my round 1 opponent now, but the opponent is not responding... update 2: 15 minutes later and still waiting for my opponent to respond... it's still showing that im disqualified in the brackets update 3: I'm through, they disqualified my first round opponent again... hopefully it stays like this. I'll delete the thread in 30 minutes " | ||
