I think its bo5 because the teams just can't support giant rosters. Unfortunately. Though who knows maybe sc2 will start to grow again in Korea only time will tell

total prize pool is 160k? last season was 300k. how is it the biggest prizepool in proleague history when it got cut by half?
|
According to the other thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=438328#6
The matches will be at the " Nexon Gangnam studio ", so it won't be that little box that the SPOTV matches were in last season.
Also:
12:05 - Broadcasters: SPOTV Games, SPOTV2 will broadcast at the same time. Available in 8.5 million households with IPTV. SK B TV, LG U+, and OllehTV will broadcast (each telecom company's mobile channel). Also on NAver sports, Youtube, and TwitchTV.

Just realised BO5 :/. That's awful, I hope there is some way to make them change it... Not even ace matches?

next weeks: teams with 15 players like IM/SKT/CJ/KT all gonna to shrink, i think the effort need to be outside korea right now, sc2 is doomed because of lol in there. Blizzard needs to support a team league too IMHO, imagine a global team leaguem with 16 teams, i dont even care if its online, put the playoffs offline and bingo, we live in the internet era right now, i really feel we dont need to reproduce the in studio leagues to be good...

can someone clarify the timeslot? How many matches will be played starting 7pm KST? And 3 playdays per week seem weird. Looks like each team will only play one game each week
All in all Im pretty disappointed compared to last season

Post Season Winner: 50 000 dollars Post Season 2nd: 20 000 dollars
if you add everything together its the biggest prizepool in proleague history apparently
