Thousands of hours of StarCraft II were broadcast throughout the 2013 World Championship Series, and after watching it all – you did watch it all, right? -- now you get to put your wealth of accumulated knowledge to use in our end-of-year special event. The community needs your input in selecting the Global Favorite Player of the Year, Favorite Game of the Year, and Favorite Players from WCS Europe, WCS Korea and WCS America.
We invited you to pick the nominees just a few days ago, we’ve compiled your responses in every region, and now all that’s left to do is vote for the players and games you enjoyed the most in 2013 in the corresponding battle.net thread. Beginning December 16, we’ll unveil your choices.

Favorite WCS AM Pro isn't even going to be close. Sorry Scarlett, gotta be JD. I'm interested to see what the best game will be imo it's Life vs. SjoW. So excited for the results!
Most of those games weren't even good on their own, it's just the context that makes them seem better. Jaedong vs Dear, Inno vs Souley g7 for example, not fantastic games
Inno taeja and Maru Dear though, those were awesome
I voted for Jaedong for global, his story has been the most engaging... I was so relieved he finally won at ASUS ROG. Favourite WCS Europe player is easily MC, he does so much for the community. Finally, for the pure consistent powerhouse skill Innovation for WCS KR.
DRG vs. Innovation G2 made me feel the most, so that's what got my vote for best game. After that first game, which was also awesome, it was so cool to see DRG and Innovation go at it again, and have another great game, but with a different outcome. Plus, DRG is the man.

I thought the first game was actually cooler, but that series as a whole... whew! Easily the best series of 2013.
I'm a little disappointed at the lack of proleague games that received nominations, but to be perfectly honest, I was less than thrilled with most proleague games in HotS. Maybe they just occurred at an awkward time.
JD game was definetely the most hype and most exciting game for me. I do personally think I was most impressed mechanically by the ZvT shown in the Inno vs DRG though. Either way, these are a great set of games to rewatch if you're yearning for some SC2 VODs
No Duckdeok for favorite WCS EU player is just silly. I mean for god's sake he WON. Obviously this is no fault of the organizers, I'm just amazed he didn't get enough nominations.
Where is Taeja's clinic in lategame TvP vs Rain? I guess they didn't want to list two epic Taeja games that he wins, but I enjoyed that match too (though probably less than his TvT vs Innovation...god damn that game was MMA/Gumiho tier...)
tried to vote on every poll multiple times while logged in on the battle.net site, refreshed/cleared cache too, and still can't vote in any of them... kind of annoying :p
What the fucking fuck???? There has been an enormous mistake, Mvp vs Innovation is easily a top 5 game of the year, no question. Furthermore, I personally think that it is definitely the best game of the year.

I believe they are counting your vote, but you don't get confirmation since they disabled the "results" screen so the results could be announced at a later date.

Nah. Not even top 10
Innovation Taeja #1 easily. The two best players of 2013 battling out in the best matchup in classic bio/tank vs mech.
The scarlett game might have been more exciting but the Innovation Taeja game was probably the highest level game we have ever seen in SC2 so far. They were both playing so perfectly it was crazy.

The best game of the year was surely MVP's come-from-behind-with-only-nine-SCVs-like-a-total-fucking-badass win over Innovation?
EDIT: Every third post in this thread agrees with me, lol .
The games on the ballot, as well as the players for every other category, were NOMINATED through an earlier vote, not decided upon by TL.

Agreed with this, even tho I voted Scarlett for NA player. (I know I know, Jaedong is awesome, but Scarlett is virtually singlehandidly causing a revival of the NA scene).

I saw that...but tbh Reddit is a pretty dumb place for that sort of thing, considering all the hardcore starcraft fans are here (not that there aren't plenty who also visit Reddit).
The nominations should have been done on Battle.Net (like the voting is) and /r/starcraft and TL.Net should've been notified via a forum post. Pretty poor effort from Blizzard IMO and now one of the most popular picks for best game of the year isn't even nominated.
...If I lose ill surely become depressed and not be able to run FPL for this upcoming season. So don't let that happen! also vote for Taeja or you're killing TLSports.
After watching the games again that I thought was best man Taeja vs Inno wins in a big stomp. Maru v Dear is close but the anticlimactic "well f this I have my ball now lets roll" kills it.
Taeja vs innovation was insane. I think some of the Innovation Soulkey macro games were out of this world as well. That was the highest T v Z seen yet. And Taeja vs Rain in S2 Finals was insane... That ghost micro WTF... Yes I'm biased haha
Best game on the poll was TaeJa vs INnoVation, but I'm really really surprised that MVP vs INnoVation (Akilon Wastes) wasn't an option. I'd have voted for that one in a heartbeat.
Edit: Nevermind, I guess everyone else wanted to vote MVP vs INnoVation too
Not in the mood for creating an account so I'm just gonna post my picks here and pretend that it counts.
AM aLive - I see him EU Welmu - Foreign breakout 2013 KR Innovation - Because he was not in the world poll WR Soulkey - He's quite good and handsome GOTY Sjow vs Life - Because fuck yeah
Voted JD where I could, Taeja vs Inno was probably the best game of SC2 I've ever seen, period. TvT played at that level is by far the best this game has to offer.
I could not quite help myself, I hadn't been on the official forums for like 2.5 years, so I decided to take a peek at the forums. I must say, the folks there have some interesting ideas about balance.
With my busy schedule and horrible internet while working in China, I actually got the chance to watch Taeja vs Inno and so glad that the few times my internet was on my side that I got to experience one of the greatest games of 2013.
TL eSports have my vote all the way down the line!!!
Favourite game? Easy! DRG vs innovation, that whole series was such a display of strength by both players it could easily have been a GSL final! As for the rest, Poltimus, Grubby, Maru (even though he broke my heart by leaving Prime)
