Well that was my original intention so that we could go through it quickly, and thus the current set up that does allow it.
However if people are concerned about being around for the pick, having a scheduled time for picking is also acceptable to me as I allotted enough time for such a situation.

so we could write out the schedule or just countdown timers for everyone's picks

You didn't mention that the schedule lists deadlines in the OP. And these threads move quickly, so people might miss it and think their turn STARTS at that time.

There were 16 Group Winners and there are only 8 groups.
