It is stupid to say who is the best in any race.. nobody is really that consistent. Every player has his own couple of months of dominance, than he falls into "good but not the best" category. For example, Taeja is only good during summer :D Innovation was considered unbeatable at first, and now he is beatable in every matchup, even his best - TvZ.
Also, this tournament really isn't that stacked. MC is not in his prime for awhile now, Scarlett is also underperforming, so is Hyun so winning in such competition hardly makes you the best player in the world.

Lets wait and see how sOs does in the next couple of months before declaring him the next zerg bonjwa.

I'll be honest here... Red Bull Battle Grounds is not exactly a top-tier tournament in terms of player lineup... Plus, it's only 8 players. The matches at Blizzcon were not impressive enough for me to consider the winner "best player in the world", but they are at least up there.

I think one could make a really good argument that Mvp was the best player in the world for quite some time in 2011, but sOs right now? Ehhhhh....

wow sOs has to get 200 titles while some players just need to place high in a few foreign tourney or dominate teamleague to be considered the best. Guess thats fair...

Standard TL nonsense. Remember Stephano was called the best in the world when he won foreign tournaments the same time Nestea did a flawless GSL run.

There is no best player in the world. The top players are so even that any one of them could win on any given day.

if he wins this then follows it up next week with a strong performance at Dreamhack, I will say he is one of the best. I still think Dear is the best Protoss.

I like how people forget about other players for example PartinG did not attend any big event but owned WCG and every online qualifiers he attented.

Parting failed to top 5 in the most recent GSL so wasn't at the season 3 finals, both tourneys won by Dear. He also didn't have the points to qualify for blizzcon so wasn't there either. There really isn't an argument for Parting as the best protoss atm. It's Dear and if not him it's sOs.

I had to pause the PartinG interview 5 seconds in... He doesn't play for Startale anymore XD
PartinG fanboy to the max, Rain/Squirtle/Dear/Scarlett/Bbyong are cool too. I don't always watch Dota2 but when I do I have no clue what's going on. GOGO POWER RANGERS

I don't think his argument was that PartinG was a top tier player, more that, the community quickly forgets about you if you aren't in the spotlight.
While PartinG has had weak 2013 (by his standards), he is definetly still a top protoss and he is still very, very consistent. I think the next GSL will be his 8th consecutive. He is still quite good.

This subtitle style of interview looks way better than the standard esport realtime translations. Hopefully this will be a new trend in the new interviews to come.

I really liked both of those interviews, don't see the need to talk shit on Wax. I think he asks much more interesting questions as far as the game itself goes than Hotbid, even if the humor side is a little less a center piece.

I enjoyed both of those interviews a lot, it's so good to see PartinG back <3

Wow, you don't even consider sOs "one of the best" yet? And to even get that, he needs to win Redbull and probably break into elimination rounds at Dreamhack?

You're the owner of a stupid opinion, really not a whole lot else to say. The guy won WCS at BlizzCon, that right there should already earn him AT LEAST "one of the best."

If you win a tournament where there are only eight players and several of them were invites? Come on sHy. We all know you qualified for it, but that doesn't make you the best player, okay? We all know how it works and yes you are one of the top protoss players atm, but let's not make silly statements with regards to this little thing.
