you're implying that protoss is the ezamove race?
I thought we got over that argument already

If only one Terran gets into quarter-final and only one Zerg gets into semi-final , than its obvious - something wrong with the balance. If there are 2x more Toss players in global GM than Terran, its obvious its something wrong with the balance (btw, im not bias, im zerg player) If Terran gosu player knows from the beginning (not even talking about ladder players) about all-in blinkers+msc and still cannot defend on the opposite side of the map - its something wrong with the balance. To counter blinkers all-in require static defences which is not a professional play. Static defences do not contribute neither for army , neither for economy and it doesn't allow for counter attack. And if for some dumbness Terran decides to counter Toss, he will get 0 apm 940 dmg from Nexus overcharge.

sOs actually wins his games with good strategies, that innvolve a lot of harrassment, and great decision making (and more often than not, flawless execution of said strategies. He's far from being and "a-move" Protoss. Even I as Terran (which is often said to be the super mega skill0r race) have to admit that sOs simply is better than most players. If Jaedong had won that final series against sOs, would Zerg be overpowered?
Edit: Oh and regarding "there are two times as many global GM Protosses as Terrans"... 8 out of the 16 top WCS players were Terran.

I think one could make a really good argument that Mvp was the best player in the world for quite some time in 2011, but sOs right now? Ehhhhh.... wow sOs has to get 200 titles while some players just need to place high in a few foreign tourney or dominate teamleague to be considered the best. Guess thats fair...

I do not say Toss players are bad players. What i can blatantly state that Blizzard trying to cover toss race design flaw by buffing and artificially helping to win tourneys RATHER of making Toss more flexible - more micro/macro capability race to play. Currently Toss player have no mechanics to play at the same level micro/macro games as other races , therefore traditionally they were doomed not to win tourneys at the highest level.

Man, people are throwing around superlatives like there's no tomorrow. Why can't we just agree that sOs is a sick player and leave it at that until he really dominates for like the next months?

I guess you painted over the memo with your broad brush.

We'll see if he's the best in retrospect after a metagame + balance cycle. Hard to say anything now that Protoss just wins games for no reason. Might just be a case of Sniper.
