Not to mention you can definitely tell how Korean culture was affecting the way the game was played. *minor spoilers about season 1*: For instance Kim Gura ran his own small alliance in the first few episodes, and was ruining the game plans of the majority, yet it appeared that opinion of him remained rather high. I found it odd that nobody ever seemed to resent him despite his very blatant style and there seemed to be some negative backlash towards yellow after he knocked him out. Players also showed a recurring very high level of respect towards one another, much higher than I expected. Despite what happened the previous week nobody seemed to really hold grudges and was generally polite and jovial from week to week. This is probably helped by the fact the show was only once a week, but still it blew me away.
