I think Yellow has proven this season that he's become a better team player/leader. In season 1 his best moments were all individual (and possibly his worst moments were all from teaming up).
I think this season all of the games have been too team oriented and immunity is getting dished out too easily. As I recall from last season, the only episode where multiple (>2) people received immunity was the Zombie Game and it required a tremendous effort in order to obtain that result. I think its the show's way of forcing interaction to generate material for later episodes, they're using the early episodes to have every player interact with every other player either as a team or against each other, that way no matter who makes it to the end they'll have material to flash back to to show how they interacted previously.
It's also a simple matter of scheduling - some games are based more on individual play and some are based more on team play; and you can't have the team play games later when there are very few people left, so need to use all those in the beginning.
I personally enjoy the larger games more because they're more about networking, charisma, and reading other people than number theory, logic, and memory, though these first two episodes were a little silly in this regard - with opposing teams of 4 or 5 there is not enough power or personal benefit in betraying, so once the alliances form it's just about maneuvering within the game....I'd rather see secret dealmaking and shifting alliances of small numbers of players, but that's just me.
It's a great show overall, and I'm glad that the person who survived this episode did, they will keep the show interesting.

Sunggyu was easily one of my favorites from season 1, in general I feel like the season 1 cast had a lot more memorable members, even those who went out early. But maybe I just feel this way atm because I watched 12 episodes of season 1 and only 2 of season 2 thus far. Let's wait and see how things develop once the level of mindgames rises.
Also @Clefairy: Afaik you used to have subbed versions of the OGN sc2 variety show (I forgot the name) on your youtube channel and had to remove them due to ogn being a bitch. Any chance you may reupload those to dailymotion or somethingelse?

Yea, HongChul rebellious make me dislike him, but at the same time, I will miss him if he is gone  .

I love these episodes where there's a game-changing plot-twist at the very, very end regarding the death match.
The fact that the gambling aspect of the death match was its primary determinant compared to any of the other mechanics was one of those reveals where the viewer is like, "yeah I should have thought of that".
