I think group C is the hardest, 4 players that are really high level and evenly matched. Group A I think certainly has JD and Taeja as the winners.

JD afaik never dropped a game to TaeJa in HotS.

Pretty sure they only played one series at dreamhack that was decided by JD running lings through an open wall off. Not exactly a great indicator. Especially when JD has played against terrans of similar skill like Polt and Bomber he has gotten manhandled.
