After the conclusion of the final WCS EU Ro16 group, the brackets for the elimination round have been drawn. Three Europeans in Nerchio, Targa, and VortiX will take on the Koreans MMA, Stardust, MC, Genius, and Duckdeok, who look to do their part in allowing Korea to sweep single season of WCS in 2013.
The Ro8 to grand finals will take place on October 5th and 6th.

Genius is going to win this season!

They signed MMA as zerg ^^
Good thing for Targa, now he knows what matchup he has to practice. Edit: is Naniwa in europe? If that was the case and he's willing to help, I bet Targa has big chances actually.

Gracias!
I feel like somehow targa is going to win this tournament. He's the true dark horse of this tourney. It's crazy that he's gotten this far. As for nerchio vs MMA.....that just sucks.... I wanted nerchio to at Least have a chance to get to the ro4

If any Korean is to win this season, I'm rooting for Genius. Otherwise, go Targa,/Nerchio/Vortix!

Fun fact: There was a collective groan from the crowd when Genius was not picked to face MC in the quarterfinals.

I hope at least one European makes it to the top 5.

Damn, the Koreans are really lucky with the draws in WCS EU this season, first in the RO16 groups and now again. They never have to knock out each other (except the number of times it can't be avoided) although they couldn't really complain if that would be the case, since they sometimes finished behind foreigners in the RO32 and RO16 groups.
I wish the foreigners would be rewarded with all-foreigner matchups for their wins over Koreans in the groups. Instead now it probably happens that there were a decent number of foreigner-over-Korean wins in the group stages but the Koreans still get all the top 5 spots in the end, not being punished for their group losses to foreigners in any way.

The groups were seeded based on their Ro16 finish and group to avoid meeting each other again
I am not sure what the heck you are even going on about
