This is so sad.

The NA scene doesn't need publicity. It has publicity. It needs tournaments.

For Christ's sake, no more charity.

While I agree that it definitely needs more tournaments, a lot of great NA players are playing in smaller tournaments or team leagues all the time AND being casted AND listed on the TL calendar. Unfortunately, people often tune into these streams and immediately leave because they don't know the players(even though they're fantastic players that take games off of big name players sometimes!).

JonSnow is a great example of this! He was a player in team leagues like the URTL but most people didn't know about him! Even now, he's managed to qualify for WCS America(over chinese super star XiGua and korean Motok, as well as a few others), but he STILL isn't well known enough for people to stay tuned. I think it has partially to do with people not recognizing the player, which what I'm hoping to do with this series. I don't think this series is charity either. The players aren't getting anything from this outside of publicity, and I have no ads on any of my content so I'm not either.

This post is so sad.

This isn't true at all, we need tournaments and ways to get people to know the players. Both are good ways to do so not just tournaments which koreans dominate anyway.

for Christs sake at least try to make a post that makes you look semi intelligent.

Ok it is almost time for another episode! We're going to be finishing off week 2 with the funday cast as Clarity Gaming's SaroVati teaches me how to dance! After he makes me a learned man in the ways of picking up women at the club, we'll kick back and talk a bit about the games he submitted. Definitely tune in for this episode as he gives some FANTASTIC insight into his games that any protoss player can incorporate into their play! Episode starts at 9pm PST!

Wow. To be honest, when I saw this, I figured "No way, this'll never happen. Six days a week? Pff, this idiot's dreaming."

Thanks for proving me wrong! Your considerable time investment and hard work are an inspiration.
<@Wikt> so you are one of those nega-fans <@Wikt> that hates the company that makes a game and everything they stand for <@Wikt> but still plays the game <@Wikt> (like roughly 30% of blizzard's player base, maybe much more...)

IEM New York is done for the day so it's time to relax and watch some other up and coming NA players not at IEM right now.

Tonight on Breaking Out, we're covering ROOT Arium's PvP! It's his favorite matchup and he faces off against his teammate, ROOT Minigun in a great PvP! Check it out!

Hey guys! Breaking Out is back with another week's episode! Today it's going to be a very special guest, WCS Challenger league player, JonSnow from CORE Gaming! This guy is the definition of up and coming NA players as one of the few players who made it over koreans, taiwanese, and other well known NA players. Come check it out since we're live now!
