For many, Bisu was the only reason to still follow SC2... The sole memory and the fact that he was playing the game was big enough to convince a lot of people to watch the game with the mere hope of seeing him play.

as i was one of his biggest fans i think t hats bs ^^ why follow sc2 because of a player that never is in any sc2 tournmanet expect 1 proleague game every 6 months o_O
if you can convice players by saying he play well then just do it again and lie, i mean they would not have seem him anyways ^^

Bisu WAS professional Starcraft for me back in 2008. I learned to love other players since then, but Bisu will always be the best in my heart.

The greatest Protoss in the history of the game. One of the greatest players ever. The slayer of a god, the ender of an era, the Revolutionist.

So passes the greatest age of Starcraft. Here's a toast for all the memories!

EDIT: I will still follow SC2 results because of Flash and Jaedong, but no more watching for me. Dota 2 has taken the mantle of daily competitive e-sports for me, and BW's resurgence through SOSPA simply leaves no room for any other game. I don't think it's right to blame SC2 for the decline of BW - the game had already peaked. However, the abrupt end of Korean pro BW was partially the fault of Blizzard's insistence on force-feeding SC2 to the Korean scene. We can have opinions on whether SC2 was able to fill the shoes of it's older brother, but let's not litter this thread with our opinions of how bad SC2 was. We all know Bisu would have done much better if he played Terran or even Zerg. SC2 Protoss is, IMO, badly designed, but the game itself isn't a bad game by far. It was, after all, based on the greatest RTS of all time.
