Crank and Goswser return for Season 3
There were no big surprises to begin the Group Stage of WCS America's Challenger League, as AX.CranK and Mill.Goswser earned the top two spots and returned to the Premier Division. Crank, who had been eliminated from last season's Ro16 after playing some bizarre and suspicious games against teammate Alicia, showed better form against his non-Korean competition went through in first place without dropping a single map.
Meanwhile, Goswser also made it through his group to make it at least two players from the USA in season 3 (joining Minigun), twice defeating the kiwi Tilea to earn a second place finish in the group. Tilea will begin season 3 in the Challenger League, while last place finisher Capoch must start in the qualifiers.
WCS America Season 3 Premier League Players
Season 2 Top Eight (8)
Oz, Jim, MacSed, aLive, TaeJa, Polt, Jaedong, Scarlett
Challenger League Bracket Stage Winners (8/8)
Minigun, HerO, Top, DeMusliM, NesTea, ByuL, Sen, Revival
Challenger League Group Stage Winners (2/16)
CranK, Goswser

yes, we don't have a way to display it TLPD so just zerg icon

Good for Goswser, He really deserves to be in the premier league the way he has been performing lately.

Where are the foreign Terrans? Are Korean Terrans the only ones that are on rampage?

I don't get why it's not displayed on the brackets on the wcs blizzard website. Also it shows Season 2 and not season 3. Did i miss something ?
Apperently for Tilea, blizzard made the "random" icon as her default.

Awesome that Gowser made it.

Soooo who wants to do Group B

They were actually quite good games, I didn't get to see either of the ZvZ's from Goswser but will catch it at work.
Hopefully the NA reason continues to crank out strong contenders. Vibe for instance has always shown promise, but keeps stumbling but I think he could be really great.

Foreigners still consistently way worse at playing Terran than Koreans. I mean, apart from ThorZaIN (that didn't last that long as a "top" terran) and LucifroN (which is not as good as he looked during WCS EU last year)... "Good terran" and "foreigner" just seem not to match...
Still, I'm looking forward to Dayshi's improvement. If he keeps up improving, he might end-up quite high.

Well, I like him but he's not improving now. His level has dropped in the last three months.

Impressive bracket to be sure, I just wish there were a few more players from high level, lesser known NA clans. Though I suppose with FXO NA disbanding drunkenboi is teamless for the time being.
Will be some good watching regardless.

But Tilea just chooses to use different races. She was shown as a terran zerg player with both icons somewhere on the wiki.

=/ I was really hoping for Goswser and Tilea, but those hopes were too high for Crank to let happen... *sob*

How the hell is Crank still eliminating people from wcs, the season after the most suspicious games since naniwa vs nestea? He made it pretty clear he`ll compete only up until he hits a team mate.

CranK gg'd early even though he was arguably ahead vs Alicia. LR thread exploded.
