Jesus out of the 16 players 10 are toss with more likely to come from group stages. WCS EU is going to fill the void left by PvProleague

Its pretty interesting that europe seems to be holding its ground rather well, while NA has been flooded with koreans. not saying its a good or bad thing, i just personally find it interesting.

Ping. I feel like thats the real barrier to more Koreans in EU WCS. But wow, next season EU WCS is gonna be a PvP fest!

So it´s the legacy of the void?

So long as Mvp makes it I'm ok.
Be interesting to see how the U/D works for EU and racial balance.

yea PING is the reason why chinese and koreans try WCS NA, less lag
and since internet infrastructure from europe to asia isnt going to get much better that fast
WCS NA is going to be where the koreans go, (making it more competitive)

Yeah Mvp !! I really liked his games against Dimaga though ! First game was Dimaga being a boss in the late game,,, and the last game was Mvp showing everyone how hellbats are still awesome even with the nerf

Too bad MvP made it, now hoping he gets taken out in premier league. Nothing against MvP (besides that I like Europe holding), but it is just too funny reading messages from all the people who claim they will uninstall SC2 everytime MvP loses from a European.

yes these comments no matter when and why are always so stupid... who are they threatening? the players wont read it and the other LR-thread viewers dont care, that being said i hope for Mvp placing top5!

"EU holds" is basically a false claim. EU does not have as many koreans as AM, which makes it easier for EU to hold.
I would love to have a region lock, but as long as that does not happen, WCS is just another KR tournament for me, with slightly weaker "qualifiers" than normally.

Oh gosh... 10 protosses.
Seriously, I know that this race's match-ups have evovled (notably PvP) but I just can't watch this... Redesign the race, Blizzard... Protoss is way too boring....

Well, there's the imfamous "wall of lag", this is a two-way benefit in that it makes it easier for the Europeans and less Koreans wanting to participate. The ones that do are of a lower skill generally (finale, tails and San aren't exactly superstar level of Taeja, Polt, Hero, Byul, Hyun, B4 ect) and the general skill level of Europeans is a little higher than NA pros so they can pull off the surprise win occasionally, like MC and San been beaten in the Challenger brackets or Mvp been knocked out of the RO16.
Don't get me wrong, I (and I'm sure a good number of other people) enjoy chanting "Europe holds" every time we have a small victory, I actually believe it's become a big part of WCS EU, but the fact is we had a lot of good fourtune thrown our way and the NA's got the shitty end of a lot of shitty stick.
