Dear TeamLiquid,
This thread has been quite dramatic to skim through and the discourse is mostly erroneous. That said, I do want to apologize and take full responsibility for not keeping our Core Gaming under-development websites (and under-development liquipedia) on a private server prior to our official launch on September 1st. This would have mitigated any sort of trouble and skepticism stemming from misinformation and apparent inconsistencies, especially with information acquired from simple google searches.
The reason that I did not totally privatize the websites was to demonstrate to community members and players that we are a transparent organization, even in the development stage. It has worked well for the 280+ currently in Core Gaming and for our awesome players.
As I have stated in my previous posts, we will officially launch Core Gaming on September 1st and publicly announce our sponsors, vision, organization, and provide the requisite documentation to demonstrate validity and legitimacy . We will also announce on September 1st a Core live stream event, where all of our players/management will be on cam to introduce ourselves to the community (yes, including the infamous Milad).
I would also like to tell anyone currently in Core that there's no need to do any defending on threads like this. We are a great group of people with a strong community and, now, a strong rostered SC2 team. There are people who will hate us and find reasons to bash us whenever convenient, but that happens in all aspects of life. Your defensive forum comments will almost never change minds, especially for those people who ardently despise someone personally, make strawman arguments, or just like to generate hate in general. We will continue to grow our community, continue to solidify and sustain our cash flow, and do our best to be an asset to the SC2 community and TL.
I do want to thank eLeVaTiOn and Rei for their skepticism and consistent questioning of our motives and legitimacy. This type of investigatory insight is necessary to a healthy and viable community, and will hopefully dissuade illegitimate and fraudulent entities from corrupting the scene in the future.
I expect this same amount of scrutiny to apply to any new organization looking to make an impact on the SC2 scene. We have to understand that these players deserve to be treated professionally and with dignity and respect; and that tenant is fundamental to Core Gaming and it is why our organization will do its absolute best to take care of our players and community members.
I look forward to the official announcement on September 1st. I will do my best to respond to serious questions in this thread.
All the best, Neuro (Justin)
The "Executive Director" of Core Gaming

I love you guys because you pay Wannabecool. He is awesome.

If nanocloud is in anyway associated with the management of this team, it should make for some interesting times.

good luck
You are proceeding with Milad as part of your staff after knowing all the facts the community have given to you, there is nothing else we can help you with.

Any clan who sponsors a player, who took his name from A Song of Ice and Fire.
Is a pretty epic clan.

So do the companies mentioned in the other thread actually exist?
CorePro Design CorePro Design LLC CoreTech Engineering LLC
The other thread says they don't exist.
Proof?

W00t! Wannabecool!? Can't wait to see some fan favorites get cannon rushed out. I wouldn't worry too much about the drama whoring on TL, it gets kinda crazy sometimes. GL HF Neurotic!

CorePro Design LLC is the name of the holding company. I filed the paperwork with the State of California last week. California does not have an online filing system, so you have to mail your application. On their wait log, they are currently 10 days back logged on filing requests. Click here for Processing Times . The official copy of the LLC document will be made available on the September 1st thread.

And Core is a great community. We have an internal community where people hang out and we enjoy ourselves. The pro players are no different, they're welcome and always open to talk and be a member of the community. If we find someone a huge detriment and said person is intentionally destroying the community, they will be removed.
The slander about Neurotic (a la Justin Baker I believe) is unneeded by people from other places. He's an amazing person and he knows what his agenda to help our agenda is, like he helped Aeon of Storms. People claim he destroys things (a la "Muggle" and his comment about the Aeon of Storms community destruction) but he doesn't. He put a lot of money and time into this and I'll as a person hope he continues on his venture and I also hope you guys agree.
If you believe I'm droning this out because I was paid or whatever, I'm not. I've been in the community since it was building and I don't regret it. He pieced a new, less troll community for a smaller game that people enjoyed into a bigger, more successful one. And if my IP matches his, you can permaban me forever + 1 (It won't. I'm a completely unique person in my own house.)
I like what you guys do on Team Liquid but there's no need to bring distraught, aggressive drama and assaults onto the community. If you don't feel we're going in the right direction, you can suggest it to us, but you do not need to consistently assault the community.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to your critics with respect especially at a difficult situation like this.

I heard he mailed it in this week, so check in maybe at the end of the month and it should appear.

This is just to get more attention... Please stop Core... I felt that the pitch forks was put away after the 10th page of the last thread.

Stuff from previous thread + Show Spoiler +"Just from the statement above I can tell you don't really know what you're talking about. You are so very wrong. So many real (as you call them) organizations do this." (page 8)
NASA does something similar this (my father works there).
I hang out with Core's group quite frequently, and tbh there IS a NaNoClouD (as well as a whole bunch of other people) online every day.
"The whole core website is a joke. I have a friend that's registered in there. Everyone's a joke there, especially the so called leader neurotic, I hope they get sued and disbanded. They are scams and punishment is a must for a fake "pc community" with the shady guys running this whole operation. Thanks for the info elevation. This Iron guy needs anger management lol" (page 9)
Um, no? I login every day.
"I just want to clarify one thing. Ironsights is infact nanocloud, if you look at their website he has a picture of the supposed Milad with the ironsights nickname. And hey look at that, the same ironsights ferociously defending the team and nano's reputation on forums.... what a coincidence. Its funny how nano always says "he is done with this thread" but believe me, he cares too much about his reputation to not let a single comment in this thread get past him, and he will comment again. " (page 9)
Ironsights isn't NaNoClouD.
And I can totally back up Nuparu (page 10)-- none of those players are NaNoClouD.
And Quidditch/Hogwarts/Muggle/Crucio? Mostly correct.
On this thread? Just hope that things get... more unique.
Have to say that last thread was very interesting to read.
Core Gaming is definitely a thing. :\

FundSponge is NOT a sponsor. Calling them a sponsor is a lie. The company is not funding coreprogaming. FundSponge is an advertising platform that sets up an amazon.com shop which gives 4% of proceeds to whatever group utilizes it.
Calling it a sponsor is fairly misleading.

Earn money through your Amazon Store! Free fundraising opportunity for clubs and non-profit organizations
You can earn money for your organization when members buy their textbooks and other Amazon products. Get 4% from products sold through your organization's FundSponge store.

I don't know that this really warranted another thread. You said all you were going to say in the previous thread. If people didn't believe you in that thread, I doubt they will with this thread. The only thing that's going to change peoples opinions on this is your announcement on September 1st. And if I were you, I wouldn't hold back on that; put everything you have on the table. I'll be eagerly awaiting to see if that convinces me.

Hey man thanks for the concern FundSponge is actually owned by one of our managers pea_sea So, yes it is definitely a sponsor since they provide support to us way beyond simply using their service.
Yes, we use their service of course, but they also give us much more value in the other facets of our agreement.

Nuparu, let me clarify the situation for you: The "others that do it as well" are probably not members of an e-sports start-up venture, and therefore do not represent a brand's image. Standards are higher for leaders in e-sports than for dudes who ladder and aren't asking people to trust them.
You seem unaware of the higher standard you are now being held to by our community now that you have others relying on you for monetary compensation. Please rise to this increased standard and don't ask to be held to the same standard as regular people on the forums; because if you are, people will surely not trust you with their money.
I recommend you all consult a PR firm as soon as you have the funds/time/humility because your brand is being tarnished while it's still in the showroom.
edit: I see you're just a community member. As for Core's leadership: If the shoe fits, wear it.

Are you telling me Core gaming does not endorses boosting, but does not care about his lack of integrity neither, as long as nanocloud does no wrong you would have him on your staff?

Hey Rei - I've just been informed about who you are and your history with this community. Let me remind you that you are the "Assistant Manager and Coach" of sMi , a team fraught with recent fraud and scandal. You are literally the last person on Earth who should be questioning any team's integrity, let alone my own and my organization.

Yes, an Amazon marketplace seller started 4 months ago is your main highlighted sponser. I have an Ebay account that's 7 years old. I think I'll sponser my own team.
By the way, Fundsponge has two stores... One is Coregaming, the other has two items for sale. A used book and crayola crayons. Let's see, 4% of selling 1 pack of crayolas = mucho mucho dineros.

So sounds like you're both guilty but you're attacking Nano instead of trying to fix your own issue.
Well then, if one attacks another person and creates drama, it covers up the previous drama.
Amazing how that works!
(Ad hominem. Attacking another person instead of argument... when the other person is completely... well... just as bad, then it works. )

Oh man, I think Neurotic just shot himself in the foot there! (facepalm).
Sorry, Neurotic, I think Rei just owned you.
Here's why: + Show Spoiler +1) Rei was the manager of sMi, but his team was scammed by Anderson (aka Athena). Rei had nothing to do with the scam itself. If I remember correctly, Rei was one of the few honest people working on the issue. Basically, you haven't done a good job on your homework. 2) NaNoClouD was part of sMi, which is a discredited organization in your eyes, and now he's in your organization. By associating Rei's supposed "incredibility" with the disgraced organization, doesn't that make NaNoClouD an untrustworthy figure? Now, let's stretch the logic a bit by saying A can be B while B can be A. Oh, wait a minute, your organization is now discredited because of a person who lacks basic integrity is on your team. See the logically fallacy there? 3) You talk about setting aside our personal vendetta, yet you make a personal attack on Rei. Hypocrisy, if you ask me.
Next time, be careful...

I've said it in the other thread and I'll say it again. When you associate yourself with people who have shown tremendous lack of integrity, then display questionable behavior and lack of transparency (as an organization), your words are worthless. Keep making treads, sending PMs to people, defending past actions as speculation; you will not regain the trust of the community with empty words. Try not making claims of grandeur while being shady about funding. Try not making posts that raise more questions than answers. Try not inviting drama by saying you'll answer questions later. Try not announcing an announcement that will answer questions you clearly should have the answers to, considering how apparently well-established the organization already is.
If you don't have anything new other than 'stop attacking us it's speculation and we'll answer the questions later,' then just stop posting because it only invites flame and mistrust. Try being a drama free team/community who's integrity speaks for itself through achievements and a history of honorable behavior within the esports community. Then maybe people will respect you.
Edit: See what I mean with that your response to Rei? You keep digging that grave deeper and it's sad to watch.

So what about your organization then? You're associated with another person that comes from that very same team and unfortunately he was also caught lying on other things (even banned off of TL because of it). So by your logic, since Rei isn't credible because he comes from a team caught in fraudulent acts, then your organization isn't credible because your team is associated with a person from that team as well and also was proven to have lied about other things on top of that.

Just to keep you informed, FundSponge is not a Amazon Marketplace Seller as you state. FundSponge is what I am working on in my extra time to help out nonprofits and other people who need to fundraise money. My cousin (a web designer) and I (who does the site programming) have been working on the site for several months. It is a good project to work on with our spare time to potentially bring in a little extra money but we both have other full time things to do. We just got the website done recently with out first organization signing up two weeks ago. We are just now starting to market as we just now got a our newer version of the site up 2-3 day ago so of course we don't have many organizations signed up yet. We are also working on including more than just Amazon on our site and hope to have several other companies soon.
Yes, an organization can recommend their favorite items, but anyone can use the search bar at the top to buy almost any Amazon item. So anyone buying almost any item at all from Amazon can use the site to give money to Core Gaming.
Milad and Core Gaming have nothing to do with my company outside of FundSponge supporting Core Gaming. Although, we do give out a 25% referral bonus for people who get new organizations to sign up. I am happy to support Core Gaming any way I can as I have spent way too much of my time in the past playing StarCraft and also have watched way too many professional games as well. My hope is we can bring a good amount of money and support to Core Gaming to help out StarCraft players as well letting people know about my new business. This wasn't exactly what I had in mind for the way people were going to find out about my site but apparently there is always room for drama at teamliquid lately.

I feel really bad for all these young players that they recruited. Tis' a shame.
|
I grew up on the internet, and I've been part of various communtiies in different games since I was 12. That's almost 10 years ago.
And absolutely everything about this reeks of either A) Young person wanting to be important, B) Psycho wanting attention. There have been so many cases of this and it always looks the same. Trying to seem extremely "to the point" and professional, making grand promises etc - But just look at the lineup. Who are these guys? You are supposedly paying players just because?
You would be a complete idiot to trust this, and I suggest everybody waits until this Core-bullshit makes it (it won't). If it somehow actually is for real and serious, then I will laugh at the failure this whole plan was for this poor fella who thought it would be a good way to spend his time.

Hey man Our current players are awesome people and we are on teamspeak/skype together daily. We have fun, hang out, practice, and plan for cool things to do in the future. I invite you to come on teamspeak with us and talk to us in person right now - if you would like the server information, please PM me and I'd be more than happy to invite you.

If just some random person who had no affiliation with Core before this calls scam when none of the Core players have stated otherwise, why the hell is this even being talked about?

What new sponser? The only listed sponser is FunSponge which apparently is a startup created 4 months ago by one of the core members. With no revenues worth mentioning. Its like EG announcing 5 new sponsors, and they were all companies started by Huk, Incontrol, Suppy, DeMuslim and Thorzain.
Oh apologies PeaSea, nano or whoever you are, you're right that FunSponge is not an Amazon store, you just get 4% of clickthroughs, Generously, if you get $10k of clickthrough purchases from two unknown entities that are currently registered, you're talking about $400 revenue. Not profit. Rev... I seriously doubt that you even get that much given you're a completely new start up with no advertising, no recognition, and there are already thousands of other Amazon cashback click through sites.
Omg, I can't believe I'm being drawn into this craziness. Oh well, if anyone gets fooled by this group, then they deserve what they get.
Peace and I'm out!
