The Season III Up/Down matches continued to produce some surprising results, as former GSL champion
ST_Life was banished to Code A for the following season. Without a chance to earn a substantial amount of WCS points, this effectively eliminates the Zerg prodigy from the WCS World Finals at Blizzcon as well.On the other hand, KeSPA had a good night as
CJ_herO[jOin] and SKT_soO advanced through their group. herO advanced on his own merits, going 3 - 1 on the back of some strong PvT performances, only dropping a game to Life. Meanwhile, soO had to rely on a combination of skill and luck, with his 2 - 1 record enough to secure his advancement due to the complicated head-to-head situation.
