According to FOMOS, former Azubu players InCa and Eve have decided to retire. Their contracts with Azubu ended earlier this month, alongside TOP and viOLet.
Eeve left the following message on her facebook:
Over his career, InCa competed in several Code S tournaments, finishing second place in 2011's GSL July. While gaining few notable results, Eve was one of the first women to become a full-time StarCraft II professional gamer.
Additionally, Genius has recently switched his twitter ID @SC2_Genius, removing the Azubu team tag. Twitter name changes have been a highly reliable source of predicting team departures in the past, leaving many to speculate that Genius is departing the team as well.
Violet would be a good fit for Axiom if he wants to join a new team. As for the other Azubu players, most of them are not that hot since hots. Supernova might interest some teams, but that's about it.
i can't see violet having any trouble finding a team. even a foreign team would be a good fit because he is a good ambassador and has a positive, emotional connection with his fans
I'm afraid Genius is going to retire. That would make me so sad. His void ray build was so good against Hack when he modified it for HotS, it's sad we might not get to see more of that. I'm just not sure who would take him at this point.......LIQUID....O.o I might have said Axiom (how sick would that be?!) but they probably need a zerg if they were to get another player, EG doesn't need more players, I think it's possible that KeSPA might take him, considering it can't be bad to have another Protoss on a KeSPA team, I could actually even see him going to ROOT. But for teams most in need of a protoss I have to say Liquid is up there. It would be nice for HerO to have a practice partner Liquid`Genius. I like it. He's only 22 ya know...

I think you are little misinformed here. Supernova and Symbol both made the round of 8 in the latest WCS KR and Sleep just qualified for Code S for the next season. I think most any team would be happy with any of these three players.

and if azubu goes GSTL is going to be down to 6 teams maximum. basically they'd need EG and TL to each join separately to have any hope, and even then that would bring SPL down to 7 teams, meaning they'd almost certainly try to poach the bigger ESF teams. this is going to come to a head sooner rather than later.
or we could be in for like IM splitting into IM A team and IM B team just to try to keep GSTL afloat. Kespa calls.

I feel like Violet might be out of Axiom's price range. As for the remaining Azubu zergs I figure Sleep would be a possible Axiom target considering the Slayers connection and his likely salary range.

Azubu have been going down for a while, the players on the team are just jumping off a sinking ship. Hoping that the team disbanding will be dealt with the same way NHSH was and all the players get sorted out with teams if they want to continue playing SC2

I think that if it's possible for Liquid to add 2 players they should make sure to have at least a 50/50 Korean/ foreigner ratio. So 1 Korean Protoss/Terran and 1 foreigner Protoss/Terran would be ideal imo (it's 3 Korean - 3 foreigners at the moment, not counting Sheth).

I don't know what the Korean says, but given it's a condensed message for English, I would say it's just that she expects to lose fans who were only following her to see her play. It makes some sense, but she may have grown on some people. That said, I hope she grew on people for her personality (on FB/Twitter? Korean sites?) then, because we didn't see her play, so you can't really be a fan of her as a player.
I can't see Violet quitting, so I look forward to finding out where he goes. I know he lived in the U.S.A. for some time (eventually illegally) but maybe he'd fit into the European scene well. Join mYinsanity to be with StarDust and Jjakji? They could be a formidable trio of koreans for the team.

I doubt he will join Axiom. Axiom is in need for sponsors for money for the players they have. They cannot afford to add players to their roster.
A lot of players deciding to quite lately.. I'm surprised for Eve though.. It was just about the news/project that a Women's SC2 league would've been created.. Kinda sad considering that the light at the end of the tunnel was just ahead of her.. :/
This is disapointing. I never like to see players retire, but it might be the best for them. I'll miss InCa and Eve. I very much enjoyed watching them play. I hope Genius can get a team though. It seemed like Azubu was the only team willing to pick him up.

At least internationally speaking, she retired a few days before the WSL was announced. Maybe it was announced earlier in Korea, but internationally, her retirement was announced first.
Really sad, I've always liked inCa and I had high hopes for Eve. I wouldn't mind if she kind of took back her statement and played in the WSL as kind of a "hobby" related participation rather than a full time progamer participation.
Good luck to them ...it's sad to see them go. I still remember them starting their sc2 careers (InCa in oGs and eve on SlayerS during her first debut Clan War). Makes me feel like an old timer haha...
