the call we are talking about had nothing to do with Anderson, The call was between Nanocloud jonsnow, virium, sonic, onetrickpony and Quantic.Massan and they added me in the middle of the call. I was just explaining to chipmonklord17 that what Massan said was not important, and I think Massan wasn't really serious about it to begin with. And if you ask me about why I was added to the call when the content of the call had nothing to do with me,(they were talking about joining quantic academy to get better) The only reason I can think of as to why I was included into the call is nanocloud wanted to show me he has a lot of connections, and he can get players into teams that is legit. But it didn't work out for him.

So let me get this straight. Anderson wants his account leveled to gm, so he gets Nano to do it for him for 'x' amount of money. Nano doesn't do it for an unknown reason, but instead pays other people to do it for him. Why he decided that he had to be a middle man in this is beyond me. Was he trying to make a profit? Was he trying to hid his inability to level an account to gm? I don't know. So then the account hits gm, and Anderson never pays nano 'x' amount of money.
Under the assumption that this paragraph is accurate, it is laughable to assume that people should feel pity for nano. It would be like if someone pays $1000 to buy a bomb to blow up a school, and then the bomb never comes and they lose $1000. No one will feel sorry for this person. If anything, they will be happy that they received some amount of justice for their wrong intents. People rarely feel sorry for others when their predicament was entirely caused by their wrong actions, such as leveling an account to gm.

The facts don't really fit together. You accuse him of trying to scam, but there is no way he would have made any money out of that.
DirtyBirD already mentioned in this thread that this Anderson fellow was going to ask for a cut of the tournament profits; http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=423478¤tpage=13#257
The traditional Nigerian scam would have had him spinning a story about a snag in delivering the sponsor goods that needs a modest loan from the players to clear up. For that matter, he could have demanded/reasonably asked that the team reimburse him for the supposed four hundred dollars of his own money he had spent on mailing those goods. Then there's the possibility of pretending to sign everyone up for a live event and gathering the money to buy for a hotel room and entry fees, and pocketing the money.
Seriously, the fact that the scam didn't get to the point where the victims cough up some money isn't exactly proof that it wasn't a scam.

I'd just like to point out that levelling accounts to GM is clearly cheating. You might as well use map hack to achieve the same thing. Unfair advantage. And I'm out...

10 Steps to being a successful troll by Nanocloud. 1. Imitate being a good player, and fool everyone into thinking so via levelers/boosters. 2. Make way onto a team. Represent yourself as basically the perfect team member. Good attitude, good sense of humor, good gameplay. 3. Begin to troll streams and coax team members into trolling with you. When things start to escalate pull back and let team take the heat. Constantly give ideas on what to say and persuade them to say it. 4. Start creating conflict within team, opening issues the team has never experienced before. Team essentially splits in two, one side protecting yourself and one side against the trolling you hold so dear. (pro tip: try to time this while team manager is in different country/vacation for maximum effect) 5. Now that you have created a civil war inside the team, sit back and watch it burn. Started pulling a few players to the side. Explain to them how you didnt even do anything and this team is making things up. Find 2 or 3 good players to get on your side. (pro tip: younger the better, they havent had the experience of dealing with two facers like yourself :D) 6. Begin to think of best troll ever, plan carefully and find new team to destroy from the inside out. 7. Find new team and find trolls to troll with you, but make sure they are really really stupid so you can push the blame on them if shit starts crashing down. Making yourself look like a saint is the #1 priority here. 8. Your new troll friends will now imitate a sponsor/middle man to sponsor. You can imitate sponsor yourself by just making up a name or have your friend do both, totally up to you. Once you find a team to implant your parasite into start looking for players. Bringing playres that look up to you and believe everything you say even though it makes no sense is a really great option here. (See step 5) 9. Make the team switch and watch parasite eat host alive. Fap silently in basement to all the shit that is going down around you. But make sure you keep hands clean. (tissues work good here.. hue.) 10. Once their manager makes statement that they have been screwed and you have made fools of them. Leave team and make post to start your own team. Hell you have followers now, you are like a modern day Charles Manson.
Congrats!!! You just completed the troll of the century and most people are left clueless.

Once their manager makes statement that they have been screwed and you have made fools of them. Leave team and make post to start your own team. Hell you have followers now, you are like a modern day Charles Manson.
Congrats!!! You just completed the troll of the century and most people are left clueless.
I somehow do not think this is the first time that this happened, so there may be prior art. However, my brain is slowly oozing out of my ears on the foamy sea of blood caused by trying to figure out exactly what the hell happened here. Someone, somewhere, needs to set up an eSports boot camp on how not to get screwed, how not to screw your friends, your team, and sponsors.
Preferably someone with a less sunny disposition than TotalBiscuit in full wrath mode.

Sorry but that shouldn't be allowed. But nanocloud lost money because anderson never paid up, he's the only victim in this whole thing, we should all feel for him, have some sympathy people, what's wrong with you guys. I hope that's sarcasm coming out of you lol it's like a gold farmer losing his account, nobody gives a shit [3:25:58 PM] Alfonso Giron: Nano, you boosted Athena's account? [3:25:59 PM] Milad: but no wonder desrow warned me about rei [3:26:04 PM] Milad: no [3:26:31 PM] Alfonso Giron: So then what lol [3:26:36 PM] Milad: ? [3:26:42 PM] Milad: what lol [3:26:52 PM] Alfonso Giron: So what that guy wrote is true? [3:26:55 PM] Alfonso Giron: essentially? [3:27:06 PM] Milad: no itsnot true [3:27:07 PM] Alfonso Giron: then what* [3:27:12 PM] Alfonso Giron: kk [3:27:12 PM] Milad: athena didnt pay me to boost account [3:27:21 PM] Milad: athena paid me to get his account to gm [3:27:23 PM] Milad: and he understood [3:27:23 PM] Alfonso Giron: ah ok Anderson didn't pay him to boost account, he paid him to get his account to GM, there is a difference as Nanocloud explains
Wait I'm confused. How is paying someone to get your account to GM not Boosting? Isn't boosting just the leveling of an account above where they could get it themselves?
