The facts don't really fit together. You accuse him of trying to scam, but there is no way he would have made any money out of that.

You clearly wrote "after the end of the evaluation period", so after the players start to be paid. I don't see how he could have scammed anything like that, because he would have obviously been busted before that. Was he that stupid that he thought he could hide it for that long, delay payments and still receive a share of prize pools?

So the only person lost money was nanocloud as he mentioned earlier in the thread.

A scam that really can't make money What was he even trying to accomplish? Make you all look stupid? Make himself look stupider? Well sorry you had to waste your time and apparently some reputation on nothing. That would suck a lot

But most likely electronic trail can be quite enough to demonstrate the existance of the contract under the 'preponderance of evidences' standard, which is usually the scrutiny level in civil matters. what puzzled me is : how would that scam actually worked ? by what mechanism the scammer was supposed to actually profit from the deception ? I can see how the deception can hurt the teams and the players... but I quit can grasp how that guy was expecting to profit from it....

Because he claims to be a top 16 gm player on NA beating players like polt and byun when its just people that are leveling his account and him going on the account to show off and now hes getting on GM only teams like sMi and Nanocloud when its not really him. It already looks like he convinced Jonsnow, Sonic and Rei into thinking he plays at that level. Nanocloud, I dont appreciate you lying.

There are even 2 replays for you to see for yourself. oh and for those of you who said he always makes excuses and never practice with the team, you are wrong, I have a replay of him practicing builds with me. http://ggtracker.com/matches/3798062 shouldnt that replay be a prime example of why he doesnt play at that level? Oh and the 2 games he did play(vs Rob and fraypetraeus) had a different hotkey setup. That should be enough evidence. Nanocloud has an alter ego. Hes not who he says he is.

That might be harsh, but it's sad how many people these type of guys can try to scam and never really be stopped by conventional means through authorities. wtf, run over by a bus repeatedly cuz he's as dumb as a brick? it wasn't even an elaborate scam, in fact it wasn't even a scam at all, he had no plan, no idea what his goal was just let him be stupid

Obviously it sucks for everyone involved but even back when I first heard of the deal from a player that joined due to the sponsorship it seemed extremely fishy and I kinda assumed there was something up with it. Gl to those remaining on the team, sucks for players that left their teams >.< If it's too good to be true, it probably is, is the way to think about it; especially when it comes to things like E-Sports, where making a buck is a hard to realize dream.

Did you never have a video conference or call to know what this guy looks like ? Do you even know his real name or address? This sounds so ... unbelievable ..... If you are young and have no contract, business experience whatsoever, why didn't you include your parents or whomever to bring more sense into this. I mean sorry, this guy was clearly an idiot, but I blame you for being very naive and I hope you have learned a valuable lesson for life even if it is the hard way this time.
