The eSF has announced that NS HoSeo is officially disbanding.
jjakji, MadBull, and SSanaEE will be joining yet to be announced foreign teams. The remaining players have joined existing eSF teams. Evidence suggests that it is extremely likely that Jjakji will be joining mYinsanity.
guess i'll just repost my comment from the other thread
"Its already known that Jjakji is going to mYi.
As for MadBull and SSanaEE, one if not both going to Western Wolves. The two teams had a partnership before the disbanding. WW and Arthur parted ways which probably leaves some room in their budget for new players."
Good god, who is Salvation? He was 1-5 WoL international, 4-10 WoL Korea, and is 0-6 in HotS. Hmmmmmmm. Not to complain too much, but that's gonna take a bit of training. Having to sit on the same bench as Bomber, Hack, and Sound is going to be tough.
I wish there was garbage time in SC2 games (like continuing to play after one team already has 4 wins) so they could use tassadar as a human victory cigar

This would probably make All Kill format a little more interesting
But only if Tassadar wears a cigar costume and dyes his hair grey

He's living at home currently (said on stream). He will be coming back to the US for WCS soon.

I don't think you can doubt IM they've made so many champions out of players.
i wonder if the esf will ever merge with kespa I mean I can def see lgIM going as it looks like they will be involved with kespa for LOL soon anyway and startale and fxo I think would meet there standard as well
On July 31 2013 14:13 mastrblastr wrote: jjaki's tlpd has him playing for MyInsanity
It's pretty much confirmed he has joined mYinsanity. They just havent made the announcement yet they have an obvious jjakji picture blacked out, it says TERRAN GSL CHAMPION, and they keep pretending it's Polt and not jjakji
Always was a neat team with cool uniforms. I hope we still get to see these guys frequently. Well for guesses... Jjakji to MYInsanity MadBull to WW SSanaEE to...Axiom idk. Is Axiom considered a foreign team?
So again (I said it in the speculation/evidence thread about this), I'd like to say that I think it would be good if FXO could snap Jjakji up. It would keep them strong. Otherwise, someone like Jin Air Green Wings or MVP would be nice for balance between teams in Proleague.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Axiom or Acer might be good too. I will complain if Jjakji goes to EG or TL, especially EG (just because of all the snapping up of koreans when I'd like to make sure they don't all end up on the one team) because neither team is in Proleague now. I also hope SKT T1, KT and IM don't get him because they have such strong players and good history, although IM have yet to prove themselves in Proleague.
EDIT: Oh whoops! I completely failed to absorb the "will be joining yet to be announced foreign teams." bit. Hmm, so hopefully Jjakji goes to FXO. I don't know the other two.
Tassadar to IM actually makes a lot of sense if they are going to be in Proleague, because they need a large line-up and he's been good (enough) in the past to give a position. They have to prove themselves in training and get opportunities based on in-house results, so it's great to give him a chance.
NSH had a lot of personality and a pretty good amount of skill over the years. You could put together a pretty damn entertaining dream team with guys like Sage, Freaky, Seal and Madbull
Man everyone is giving Tassadar a lot of hate. Sure he hasn't won a GSTL game in over a year. But did anyone notice that in the WCS AM qualifiers he made it to the round of 32 or 16 each time? Only to lose to either great Korean's or the best foreigners. Being on what is pretty much universally agreed the best ESF team is only going to make him better. People need to calm down.
Someone help me out (I'm honestly clueless). How good was/is Jjakji? I'm a Z player and only really watch/pay attention to fellow Z players. I'm always curious about "one and out" GSL finalists. Did he abuse meta? Was he a shooting star for one season? Did others catch up with him? Just curious.

GL NHS! Pleasant memories of you all around.
He prepped really well and jerked Leenock around on a chain in the GSL finals, and this was when everyone thought Leenock would win, since he came in fresh off his MLG victory. They weren't metagame victories, Jjakji just played extremely well. If you actually have time, I recommend the finals; they're easily one of the best finals the GSL has put on, and you can see Jjakji's hard work pay off.
Some people say Jjakji came out of nowhere, but he was actually really good even before his breakout run. He did extremely well in the online Korean Weekly cup, which was a place where up-and-coming players often had some really great showings before breaking out, e.g. PuMa, Life, Curious, Jjakji, Squirtle, Tassadar, Bboongbboong, Taeja especially, etc. Since it was the only other tournament in Korea that they could compete in, a lot of extremely good players often signed up for it, so the tournament was no joke, even if it as online.
All this to say, Jjakji is really good. I think his lack of a proper team + management (sorry, NSHS fans!) really hurt him though.

Sad news for NSH but expected, it will be interesting to see what GSTL looks like this season.
well he's probably not getting a salary, so the cost of having him around the teamhouse should be next to nothing assuming they don't have to buy him a computer, desk for office space and all that.

How about the other players ? I mean they have solid sponsorship i would have thought IM was behond the not paying players time. It gives me a bad taste in the mouth even for a poor quality player like Tassadar, if he's playing all day helping others while not getting anything for it except getting to do the dishes.

I think most of IM get small salaries from past interviews/reports, I doubt Tassadar would tho as he is probably more on a trial/helping out esf than an actual tournament winning prospect.
Good to see basically all the members found another team. Honestly the three best players got a foreign team, but I'm pretty interested to see how Tassadar and Brave do on their new teams.
On July 31 2013 16:18 shockaslim wrote: Why would jjakji go with LG-IM when he has a good chance to travel and see the world with mYinsanity?
IM sends their players to international tournaments, they play(and win) GSTL AND they have one of the best practice environments of all teams in the world.

One thing to note here, the team isn't that big anymore. There were only 10 active sc2 players before tassadar, now 11. IM has been bigger(13-14) in the past. They probably have plenty of space.
As far as what he's getting goes, he gets a chance to prove himself in a new environment and work his way up to being a core member of the team eventually. You don't just walk into a team and get everything you want if you have his results.
IM's key players are being compensated I'm sure, at the very minimum in april 2012 nestea and mvp were.
It's sad for NSHoseo, but I can't help but think this could be the start of someone's rise to the top, like we saw when Life was absorbed in Startale with whole ZeNEX. Maybe we can see one of these realize its full potential (looking at Madbull and SalvatioN esp.).
Good luck to the players, quite a thing to have to handle, long time partners being spread like that between many teams...
The news was expected. Yet this is the first team that I can remember that ressetled all its players before closing the doors (and thats 7 players not just a couple). In true samurai fashion this team was honorable till death.
NSHS was basically a university esport club right ? anyway, I enjoyed a lot of their games and players (especially jumanji) for the pasts years, so thank you NSHoseo :-)

Why are people talking about Madbull joining EG as a certainty?
Jjakji to mYi and EG.Madbull is what has to happen, else, the world is doomed

I wonder if there is space for two team leagues in SK. Maybe it should be organised kind of like NBA with GSTL conference and KeSPA conference with some fancy playoffs format.
Yeah not sure why IM took Tassadar when their protoss lineup is so strong already. Maybe Tassadar is friends with the players or something. They can use him as a practice partner slave or something xD Grats to Tassadar though, being on such a sick team is a feat in itself.
well despite all the jokes, i think LG-IMs training enviroment can help tassadar a lot, and if he does not improve to his former level and beyond that again, well at least he has a chance now!

So after SlayerS, oGs and Zenex being bought by startale we see another esf team disband Really sucks to see, but it was a long time coming so no huge shocker. I feel the really sad part is that this won't be the last team disbanding in the near future...
@Ysellian: Rainbows GF aprodite from startale plays T and faced eve in the gstl preseason opening match.

No one can outlast Prime. Prime 4 Life Get on my Prime LVL
Prime and IM should change team names LOL
IM is the prime team of eSF and It's an incredible miracle that Prime is still doing reasonable well despite sorta on the verge of disbanding for more than 2 years.
Although I do have to say, LG-IM seems to be a making an unwise decision in their pick up, and I am questioning why the HELL Jjakji decided that mYi was the best team for him. Dude could have been on so many foreign teams...
Is it mean when I say that I'm happy that Tassadar didn't come to IM? Would not have been a good fit imo, they have 4 to 5 Protoss that outclass him. Good fit for FXO though, they are a tad light on P. IM could have used Jjakji though.
On August 01 2013 02:00 packrat386 wrote: They outlasted so many. eSF is looking weak...
Not weaker than they usually do, NSHoSeo was so close to being dead for so long that it doesn't even really make a difference whether they're actually dead.
The other teams are still okay, hell, even Prime has a player in the OSL finals nowadays. Oh, I forgot AZUBU, but they never really felt like an eSF team anyway.
Whoever gets MadBull, they need to make a hype picture just like this, but with a silhouette image of him lying on the floor pointing to his leg.
I'm sincerely hoping EG gets MadBull for this reason. EG is a bunch of marketing geniuses and Madbull seems like the perfect player for it, because he has a personality and is a good toss player
