He said the replays were 6 months old, then changed that to 3 months, when apparently a few of them are from 4-5 weeks... So basically, no he pretty much made stuff up. Either that or he's completely uninformed. And either way, it's disrespectful to the fans, imo. from the LR thread: On July 10 2013 10:26 EG.lectR wrote: This very first match is about 4-5 weeks old. Only one other match has been completed for the first week and it's less than two weeks old. The other half of matches are not even played yet. So yeah, I think Major should have just kept his mouth shut.

the acronym d2l sounds better than sc2l

The games are a bit old (some 2 weeks one as many as 4) and that isn't great.. we aren't satisfied wit that and will do all we can to not repeat it. But as Lectr said and I agree: Making them replay those games due to OUR delays is unfair to the results. So we think this is the best balance! Hope you all mostly agree <3

Major knew they were playing games for this tourney 6 months ago - and they were, management confirmed that. However the games from 6 months ago were thrown out. They are not the ones being broadcasted here. They started the tourney afresh a month ago, and so the oldest replays that are now intended to be broadcasted are a month old (4-5 weeks).

Gotta love TakeTv for that The difference is that it's NA based, not EU based. ATC starts at like 7AM in America. You can't sell that time to US sponsors and it isn't really ideal to produce a huge league at 6 or 7AM local time.

Hope you all mostly agree <3 Seems fair given the circumstances. Does that mean that, once the league gets "caught up" (or something) that the games will be played live, or with less delay, or is it going to be run...parallel to the current time frame (i.e. games will be played tomorrow, and then casted in a few weeks)?

I wish this league the best of luck, as i love team leagues. would be nice if the other sponsors could create an SC2L or esports related product for purchase to increase the prize pool as well. I think a special mouse/keyboard, headset would be more appealing to most then a router.

I think we will always strive for live but it may not happen as often as anyone would like given we have a fixed broadcast time AND we have eu/na/kr teams .. that would be very unfair for eu/kr teams and the quality of the games should be chief concern here. Until we build esports city this is the best we can do if we want to be international!

But still, nowadays, no qualifiers is a lack in any league (team or individual). Teams like Empire, RoX.KIS, Clarity or Quantic could have been good pretenders to participate.
