You can't to be the best tournament without the best teams... but i can understand, it's important for EG with their tonne of money to beat few teams... AcerTeam Story cup is more fair with qualifiers..

Poll: On the top of replays in broadcasts I am okay with replay casts if the replays are less than 1 week old (67) I am not okay with replay casts in any form (52) I am okay with replay casts if the replays are less than 2 days old (29) I am okay with replay casts no matter how old the games are (13) 161 total votes Your vote: On the top of replays in broadcasts (Vote): I am not okay with replay casts in any form Interested to see what the community opinion is on this, personally I would say It's fine if they are less than 2 days old. It can be hard to schedule all the games to be live with players from KR, AM and EU all playing in the tournament.

If EG ties their name to the league then its not really fair to the other teams in terms of exposure, might have been a sticking point. But I agree it is a pretty boring name atm ![]()

But we understand that your favorite team wasn't invited and you want to start some drama about it.

Alrighty. :D It's obviously because of Millenium's earlier issues in MCSL. Objectively, Millenium is a better team than at least ROOT, coL/Dignitas and Na'Vi by far.

I don't see how you can even say that especially considering there is no way there are 8 teams that are better then them within the foreign scene. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Acer_TeamStory_Cup (i'm not arguing they deserve to be invited)

I wasn't following that cup at all. Maybe they only have time for one team league. Personally, I am not going to throw a fit because one team didn't get invited to the party.

Whether 4-5 weeks is okay is another issue entirely, though. I'm fine with it, but apparently a lot of people aren't.

But it is a great effort by EG, and for a NA-based league I assume this is the only possible way to pull this off and I'm very happy they decided to go through with it. EGTL has the clear advantage in terms of casting, but in times of incredible saturation of content, I just can't get excited for VODs of (predominantly) replay-casts and I don't know when I should watch all of that anyway. I'll click through some of the mouz matches for sure and watch some other games if there are interesting ones that catch my eye, but I don't expect that I'll follow the league closely.
