Sounds like an earnest attempt to cover the eSports scene from an objective PoV, at least from the write-up. That was my personal view. It is about time to have something positive!

Will it turn people's heads? No - However the part she visited the StarTale team house did stereotype SC2 players as nerds with no specific numbers involved when it came to prize pools to justify the amount of hours they played but it's about as honest and fair amount of coverage we'll ever get on eSports in this country until we catch up with the likes of Sweden etc.

Daisy did a really good job and embraced the culture as best she could given the huge social and cultural gap between England and SK.

They've thrown a presenter in who doesn't play any video games at all and she's gone in to it with an open mind and tried to do her best while obviously making rookie mistakes as anyone would at their first time of doing something they have no interest or day to day involvement in. Stop being such a cynical wanker. Well said, its about time people started shunning the toxic and negative behaviour in this community, or we will -never- be accepted.

Daisy goes behind the scenes of TV in South Korea. She meets an online TV star who cooks - and eats - for an audience of people who live alone. Says it all really, what a synopsis will defiantly watch this when i get home XD

Stop being such a cynical wanker. Agreed. To be fair, if you've never played videogames, just LOOK at Starcraft. A whole bunch of things are shooting, and a whole bunch of things are getting shot.

There have been some very negative shows about games in the past (mainly on ITV, if I remember rightly) but Channel 4 is known for making documentaries with some more unusual themes and perspectives and this segment fits quite well with that. I loved the look of real shock on her face when she first saw StarTale's house!
