English production is done by ESL TV. You can find the list of casters here : http://www.intelextrememasters.com/season8/ On July 22 2013 05:24 ILOVEWAR wrote: There arent much good chinese sc2 players... so dont expect much from it. whoever wants to attend to IEM, you guys could pm me or kaisr... besides... the information for non-chinese players in china (or asia) is quite limited (or none...). I wanted to sign up for the qualifiers but... couldnt find much T_T... except the 50 bucks registration on ESL... Will there be any last minute registration for filling up the empty spots? Since my failed qualification of WCG China-Qual of last year... so close... my hands are still itching... T_T Unfortunately not, the Open bracket slot are reserved in priority for chinese players that took part in the Stage 2 and Stage 1 qualification.

Sorry if this was asked before, who is broadcasting this in english onsite? http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_VIII_-_Shanghai ^ Innovation hasnt pulled out The Broadcasters are ESL as always the casters, observer and host are all mentioned on the IEM Website... http://en.intelextrememasters.com/season8/
Intel Extreme Masters Shanghai will see our very own caster duo Shaun “Apollo” Clark and James “Kaelaris” Carrol that you know and love from WCS Europe, commentating spectacular matches of the world’s best players. The French pro player Yoan “ToD” Merlo, who has also made a name for himself casting, will be joining the aforementioned duo. Australian commentator Leigh “Maynarde” Mandalov who has commentated for Intel Extreme Masters qualifiers in the past and is well known throughout Oceania and South East Asia, will be the fourth member of the casting crew. Hosting the show will be ESL TV’s Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner, who you’ve seen on the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship stage last season and many of you know from hosting events such as WCS Europe. Phil “inFeZa” Bertino, having done a phenomenal job observing Intel Extreme Masters Singapore last season, will once again be the man behind the camera in Shanghai.
| ||

I've been waiting for some announcement so I could include more than just the schedule and casters to a news article.

This time at least Jaedong, Grubby and ToD (as a player or caster?) will be attending: @EGJaedongRC (link) See u in Shanghai xD I'm well aware of the 8 qualified players, and more interested in these pro players who are going to attend the first stage. I don't think it will be first come first serve on the spot, so IEM must know who is coming.
