will the WCS applicants also get their trips paid? Overall it seems silly that they can get 75 points by just signing up and being guaranteed top 16. I don't understand the competitive need for giving privileges to them at all. I can understand you do that to increase viewership but its nothing other than unfair.

I think you should be seeded just for being awesome or they can hold an African qualifier because either way you'd be in xD!

Why would blizzard make this a tier 1 event? This is one of the smallest, if not THE SMALLEST offline tournament we have seen since HOTS released! Also, will any of the top finishers qualify for IEM grand finals in 2014? How many top finishers will get automatic invites to the next IEM event?

Just to let people know; the Stage 2 of America qualifiers will not be on the 26th. It will be moved to most likely July 3rd. Details will be posted in the tournament thread for the America qualifiers.

is anyone else waiting for an admin to approve them for the NA IEM qualifiers? Or were you guys actually let into the tournament?

Just want to make sure we're all on the same page, and I dont get screwed x.x considering the cup is only a few days away, and i'm not sure when signups end.

Asia will be separated by Servers : SEA, China, KR/TW. We will announce the 4 slots repartition and the qualifiers dates shortly.

Sweet thanks, I wanted to go to chinajoy anyways, now I really have to go. I tried looking around but couldn't find where to buy tickets online though. A friend said last time he went he just queued and bought tickets at the door. Is that the only available option?

I check every few hours or so to approve people. Don't worry you won't get left out because on the day of the tournament I am approving people literally every 2-3 minutes up until the tournament is about to begin.

If your Chinese is limited and you do not possess any Chinese payment method (Alipay, Chinese Credit card, e-Card, etc.) the best is to buy at the door. If you do possess a Chinese payment method, you can buy ticket in advance on Chinajoy Taobao : http://chinajoy.taobao.com/

Just for clarification...what time does the NA qualifier start tomorrow? It says check in starts at 19:00 on the site, but i'm not sure if thats EDT or PDT...?

Also, whats the rule for players playing in different regions? Will Korean players be allowed to play in the IEM US qualifier? I noticed Sound and Golden were both signed up..

The NA Qualifier will start at 8PM EST.

You play in the region where you are currently living. Korean players currently living in America region must play the America Qualification.
