Character friends are not currently supported. I've added a picture to the OP and will continue to update as it develops.

Cant remember where I read this though. I can confirm this. But all you have to do (to the poster above you) is look for the blog post on battle.net web page. Found it! https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/battlenet-desktop-app-faq

Yeah, you're better off getting Binding of Isaac. That has more randomization and better weapons and customization and challenge than D3. And better writing.

I'm sure not everyone that uses b.net also uses steam, but people are aware there's an option to add a 3rd party executable to your steam library right? I already have d3/sc2 added so if I'm in game my steam friends can see, and since I'm in the game I have b.net list. As an optional tool I don't see anything wrong with this though for people that want to use it

From my understanding, SC2 relies more on your CPU (and only 2 cores even though I have an i7. Goddammit blizzard).

The reason for this desktop app seems a little lost on you. LOL that was the most idiotic post I've seen in a while, ishyishy made my day.

I wouldn't mind if it worked in the way steam works. A lot of the time on steam I hop into a game when I see a friend start playing it (Dota2/CS/etc). And it's nice to be able to invite people to games that are 'Online' but not necessarily in the game you are playing. I'd probably play a lot more D3 and SC2 if I could just have some sort of desktop chat and see what friends are doing and then join them, rather than consciously starting a specific game and checking to see what everyone is doing. Do you have a download link to the client?
