This is a little more cynical and antagonistic than I was going to put it, but the sentiment is about the same. Papa John's is a notorious piggybacker of any and every organization he can capitalize off of. Not to mention the fact that he is pretty much a scumbag - Here's what he thinks of our (the US's) attempt to transition to a step closer to universal/socialized healthcare.."If Obamacare is in fact not repealed, we will find tactics to shallow out any Obamacare costs and core strategies to pass that cost onto consumers in order to protect our shareholders' best interests." I mean, hell, look at what PJ's is contributing..if you buy so many thousand pizzas at half off (which they're still making a killing on, profit-wise), they'll shell out enough to give away 25 mouse pads!! How charitable. I'm sure that the teams will split some of the revenue from the promo.. but this is a situation in which PJ's stands to gain a great deal, and esports to gain very little. TL;DR - Papa John's pizza has way too much sauce on it and their owner is a manipulative twat. You're better off ordering 2-topping medium pizzas from Domino's at $5/ea and donating the difference straight to your favorite team or putting it towards whatever "reward" you'd find comparable to these.

John Schnatter is no friend of mine, but you can always order light in the sauce.

I feel we are gonna look down upon this whole thing a year or two later and say that selling ourselves like that wasn't such a good idea... I have a big " Should we be doing this ? " moment right now. :/

Not to mention that e-sports has plenty of 'bad' sponsors as it is (energy drinks go). Can't say this bothers me in the slightest and noone is selling themselves any more (or less) than they already were.
