There's actually a few in Canada, but not very many. If you live in St. Catharines or Barrie you would be in luck. Unfortunately I think this promotion is only valid for the PJ's in the U.S. though.

What irritates me is that when the CEO of Papa Johns was complaining about the necessity of raising the cost of a large pizza by 14 cents if he gave his employees health insurance there were commercials playing on TV here where he was talking about giving away 2 million free pizzas during the Superbowl. Later, during the NBA playoffs there was yet another promotion where millions of free pizzas are being given away.
How about this Papa Johns? Why don't you spend that money you are losing on MILLIONS OF FREE PIZZAS on healthcare for your employees? You can take your complaining about 14 cents a pie, and losing 5-8 million dollars in revenue and shove it all the way up the highest tower of the castle you live in (literally), if you are going to lose millions of dollars in profits by giving away free pizza

I like the people complaining. It's like they research everything they buy and judge it before they buy it. I wonder how long it takes them to go grocery shopping. Here's a tip, every CEO wants to make money, promotions, including giving away pizza at the most watched sport in USA, is a form of advertisement.
Anyway, I'll be buying my pizzas this weekend for this under TL Dota 2.

Yeesh, it wouldnt be TL without the obligatory bleeding heart.
Anyways, sure wish this offer was available in Canada. Theres a Papa Johns right across the street from me. Maybe I will just go in and try to haggle....

I'm getting kind of nervous, I know we have until the 27th, but the meter isn't passing tier 1 with any gusto. Hopefully it kicks up as the offer drags on, maybe this weekend there will be a big push.
It feels very allin in terms of big name sponsors. If this doesn't satisfy papa johns it may turn off the eyes of other big name sponsors not directly associated with eSports

We can discuss all day how giving away free pizzas does not necessarily equal a net loss of profit, but lets try to keep politics/business to General Discussion.
Love what they are doing for us and hopefully we can soon be pulling sponsors from companies outside of the realm of e-sports technology. This is the first step in a much brighter future for foreign e-sports teams!

Yes because the continually growing income disparity in america between the rich and the poor is just a bleeding heart issue. I bought pizzas last night but I do not agree at all with your statements.

Stop arguing and eat pizza! Tell friends and family too to USE THE CODE!

I'm teacher, we're having a Pizza party this week and I know who I'll be ordering from now. : )
|
I don't think you can order multiple promotional pizzas in one order. Is that the case?
|
Are you a nerd? Do you feel you're not fat enough already? Boy, do we have good news for you!
|
Raise that E-Sports meter, gaiz!1!
|
|
Still at Tier 1....ehhh? There is no possible way I can contribute to the cause without being American?(Other than buying a stranger some pizza)

I just ordered two pizzas under the promotion (just enter the promo code for each pizza you add), so unless they call me in the next few minutes and tell me otherwise, I believe you can.

That esports meter is not having a boner.

It must not update in real time or something. It's been at exactly the same spot since like 1 hour after the announcement. Idk how else to explain it, dinner hours in the US came after it had already reached that mark.

Advertisement campaigns can stay in the sponsored tab. Its team liquids own site it can do what it wants with its site. And we can complain about it, what do you think teamliquid would be teamliquid without it's community? I'm not really a fan of this.. can't get 50% off pizza and that counter up in the corner looks atrocious :p Big name sponsorships have always been community news regardless of the team Didn't care about that, just the notion that "It's teamliquids own site" is somehow an argument that you shouldn't complain when you don't like something.
