thanks, seems that if he had results he probably would have been kept, but shit happens i guess

This part is wrong, IdrA was for a while one of the best players in the foreign scene, even if it was the baby stages of SC2. I agree with everything else though, storylines were cool and all in the beginning, but now it's just stupid.

So why did he get kicked? Any specifics?

stephano "jokes" about pedophilia, gets suspended a month. idra once again spews something which is normal idra spewage for the last 2 years, lets dump em. i think this was also very results based and they are just using this situation as a last straw/excuse/reason to cut ties with idra

Right on, dude.

IdrA for president. Don't let them get you down man! I don't even like zerg but these jokers deserve every mouthful you give them.

His personality consists of whining, and leaving games early. If that's what you like about SC2, it's time to completely quit this scene dude.

The two situations aren't even comparable, Idra juss gon Idra, nothing is ever going to stop his immaturity and his rage. People get fed up with it after a while.

What / where did he go off that led to this? Link?

did this happened after or before he got 0-4?? and if it happened after do you guys think he would have got canned still if he moved on to round of 16 or waited to do it til he got knocked out?

Sry but i just used your OWN words, i didnt make any assumtions. You said it yourself, god damn it. You said you enjoy an angry mob throwing torches at people you dont like. How the fuck does it not prove my point i said over 1 year ago and am still saying now. There is also a difference between "not supporting" somebody and actively bringing them down. If you dont support anyone because you dont like them, feel free to not open their stream or anything related to them, instead of grabbing your pitchforks because you enjoy drama so much. I m not defending a particular player i m against the witchhunting of the community itself as i said a million times. I would even defend players i dislike a lot if this occurs. And i dont give a fuck if a player cares about me as long as i m entertained. And i dont give a fuck about people not supporting players they dont like, but i give a fuck when people like you are just sharpening their pitchforks and hoping that the next witchhunt is happening soon.
you keep looking for that gotcha! and it just isn't happening because you keep adding on these ridiculous generalizations that you think follow from my statements.
- it doesn't prove your point because you don't have one other than that you think you've caught me being hypocritical, but it's not about not enjoying drama, it's about not supporting people who do nothing for the scene anymore except generate controversy. it's the exact same event horizon as destiny and it's the exact same reaction: shrug, should probably be gone, good luck in the future even though you aren't a very good human being, cy@.
- how does an anonymous criticism bring idra down? he's said he doesn't give a shit about us lessers looking upon him.
- EG and the greater community has voted idra off the island, but honestly he's probably not going anywhere for a while longer. you keep saying "witchhunt" as if you either don't understand the context of what a witch hunt actually is or you just flatly don't care about what certain players do, and it makes you fucking impossible to take seriously.
- you don't know what I'm hoping, unless you were to say that you're done wasting my time.

Also his results have been extremely lacking lately and he probably isn't performing in-game to match his huge salary. Meh, I somewhat doubt that. I have no idea what IdrA's salary was, so I'm not going to conjecture too deeply, but HuK hasn't exactly been tearing shit up results-wise either (yes, I know he earned his spot in PL and he's beaten Koreans, but just results-wise), and it's been ages since Machine's played well at tournaments. I don't know how their salaries compare to IdrA's however, that may or may not have been a factor.

I was getting this vibe as well, seems like they were looking for an excuse to get rid of him.

Scene? Lol, give me a break. It's a game, it's not a scene. You never talked shit to people you played games with in your house or online?
A lot of you people are hypocrites who are just on the witch hunt to take out your frustrations.

I feel like consistently losing has to have something to do with it as well. If this is truly a competitive "sport" you keep the best and drop the rest, simple as that. Only personalities such as iNcontrol who represent the company in a variety of other ways get a pass from this.

unfortunatly storylines drive the business. In any pro sport I can name more than a handful of personalities that are similar to idra. Without people driving the community drama machine the overall product suffers. You can't grow sc2 as an e-sport if you don't have them. Sc2 would be very boring if everything was so sterile. It was always fun to watch a match with idra and wonder what could happen. It doesn't mean I crave negative drama. But i do enjoy when things are unpredictable. Just because you enjoy a veriety of personalities doesn't mean you aren't passionate about the game. Dyscreet wasn't saying he only watched because of idra and negativity.

Sad, i personally thought that the core reason was that he wasn't getting results. If he had been getting awesome results he might have just gotten maybe a suspension like Stephano imo.
Still, Idra was one of the more colorful people in the scene.

I was expecting a reaction after all of the premature game leaving in his series with Polt, but this feels very weird to me. Not much they could do though if nothing was working, gl to Idra.

Um, he gets hate because of his bm and rage. He doesn't ask for the hate, but then again, he doesn't do anything to discourage it.

Has he actually said in the past that he will get paid to treat people like you or me shit and he loves it?
Also Stephano is like what.. 18? And age of consent hovers around 14 across Europe. Doesn't make sense to paint Stephano's actions with such a dark light through Merican' lenses then claim Idra's actions were fine since he has shown consistency.
